now that his heart is encased, this fear is alleviated, but if he ever loses that power, the fear would return.

- Being left in the dark alone and unable to get out of it

- He can quickly run out of energy if he uses it up, making him unable to use his power

- He's still a human, so anything that would kill a human would kill him, though recently, after receiving a power from an odd acquaintance, he hasn't quite felt the same.

- Oddly enough, on days with solar eclipse, he looses his powers completely

- Using his ability makes him both tired and hungry afterwards

Goals: His life goal is to find a realm where he feels like he fits in. Also, there's that whole cliche, be rich and powerful thing. He doesn't really set goals for himself, he just likes going with the flow.

Personality: He's a bit of a jerk and pretty judgmental. But he still likes to have friends and hang out. So if he decides someone's good enough to be his friend, he's usually less of a jerk to them. When he's angry, his temper flares drastically. In the throws of his temper, his ability grows stronger. When he's clam, he's a surprisingly nice guy to be around, but that's usually when he's reading or relaxing and doesn't want to be bothered by annoying people.

History:

Gau was born and raised in Nevada, USA. His father left before he was born and his mother had named her son Gau to remind herself of the night that he had left. His mother (Erica) was a star swimmer at her college before she became pregnant and took over her family's motel. Since she lived near a lake, she gladly raised her son to be a swimmer, hoping that he would love the sport as much as she had.
Growing up, Gau was always the kid that got pushed around to do people's chores, get them money, and take the fall for anything they did. He didn't mind this of course, because he thought that he was making great friends. This misconception got bad enough to the point where he would take the fall for random strangers he met on the street or willingly give a drunk his money if it was asked of him.

After years of this, Gau finally reached his breaking point and turned 180 degrees. Determined not to be a push over any longer, he began acting the opposite of how he usually did.

While talking with one of the Panda Brothers about how he got his powers, a deal was made. The black and white boy would give him the ability to not be pulled in by the "blessing" that Lucidun put upon him. He encased Gau's heart in a dark, oozing, substance and ever since then, Gau has been feeling slightly more free than before.

Powers and Abilities

Blessing of Lucidun: This blessing gives Gau the ability to control light, mostly in the form of fire. However, in order to use this ability, he needs to store up energy. The energy he stores comes from the moon and sun. The more he basks in their light, the more energy is stored in his body.

Side Effects

- His body now radiates high temperatures, which is why he always wears gloves. If anyone touches his skin, it's like touching a burning skillet.
- He's able to lower his body temperature, but it takes up a large amount of energy.

- He can change the temperature of the surrounding air.

- He is able to send out heat waves and/or collumns of fire from his body.

Blessing of Aldian: His heart is now encased by the mysterious tar like substance that the panda brother is able to control. It has given him a new sense of freedom in many senses and restricts Lucidun's hold on Gau's soul. Gau can now use the same/similar dark tendrils that the Panda brothers use, though not in as great a quantity. He must weave these tendrils from the darkness and shadows around him. The darker the dark, the stronger the weave, and the stronger the tendril is.

Side Effects
- Gau is now slowly loosing his humanity as the case around his heart slowly seeps through the rest of his body.
- He's beginning to lack restraint and itches for fights
- He's more chaotic than normal and enjoys causing trouble
- Once he's riled up, it's hard for him to come back down.

Other Facts

- He wears contacts all the time and is practically blind without them
- He's actually a decent singer, though he's shy about singing in public

- Gets bloody noses often because of his headaches

- He respects women because he's seen how hard his single mom worked when he was younger

- Likewise, he hates disloyal men because his dad walked out on his mom

- His body temperature is well beyond the boiling point of water. So if you're not tolerant of heat, I would suggest not touching his skin.

- Oddly enough, his body temperature seems to be contained by his skin, so people can touch his clothes or hair without being burned, and he can go swimming in a pool without boiling the water,but if someone touches his skin, they will be burned

Gau: *Walking around the mansion, he pauses to look at the fountain tree, engaging it in a staring contest. Too bad the plant didn't have an eyelid. And even if it /was/ a plant...it was so odd looking. After a few more seconds, and a few close calls of being drenched with the odd goop the tree seeped, the young man decided to give up his one-sided contest* You win this time, but I'll be back for more.

1. Allison

She's a bit of an odd ball, and it weirds him out that she's able to touch him, but he wants to know more about her servant, so he deals with her outrageous boob hugs. That, and she's his tower's tutor so he feels like he doesn't really have a choice.

He now thinks he's a fool for respecting her.

2. Sienna

He was a bit iffy about the witch at first, but when he has nothing better to do, it's fun to annoy the bratty princess and pretend he's a fire demon just to freak her out. (not that he knows what the hell a fire demon looks or acts like)

He'll never admit it, but he really cares for Sienna and hopes that she'll stop acting like an idiot and start acting her age. Of course, he fails to understand the difference between Humans and Witches.

3.Artime:

He seems calm enough to get along with. And he's proven to have reliable information.

4. Ardent:

Bitchy pain in the ass kid that should be cooked and eaten by fish. Seriously, the kid comes out of nowhere and rams into him and suddenly thinks that everything is Gau's fault. What the fuck is wrong with him? Must have been dropped on his head as a child.

He's decided that while the kid can be a huge pain in the ass some days, he admires the boy's dedication to trying to kick his ass. It always gives him something he can predict. He doesn't consider Ardent a "friend" but he's not someone he hates either.

5. Meera:

.....She has problems. Can't even let him have a moment's peace. Goes off killing chimeras just because they bit him. Insists on trying to help him out. All around, an annoying kid.

6. Frank:

It's amazing how quickly the fairy can switch sides. This gets on Gau's nerves sometimes, so while he can sometimes deal with the boy's shenanigans, there are times where he's ready to throw him on the grill and cook up some Franky Patties.

7. Morgan:

She's a bit eccentric in his opinion, but not overly so. He'll deal with her until she gets too annoying, at which point, he will gladly walk away from her.

8. Calais:

He can turn into animals....... ANIMALS.

He gets a bit worried about caring for his boyfriend and trying to be someone he's not when he's around Calais. He still thinks he's cool for being able to turn into different animals, but recently, he's been slightly afraid of what's been happening to his mental state after his encounter with Aldian. He hasn't talked to Calais about it and to be honest, he probably won't.

9. Erin:

He's a pretty chill kid. Nice to be around sometimes since he's not annoying.
