Sorry for the belated update but the event is indeed over and we're thankful to all who have participated! Thanks to all of you we managed to get all of our files back in working order and we should be set for next year! Your points will be awarded shortly but here's the answers for reference! If you're all excited for the holiday season, then why not help us count down the days! How, you may be asking? Well that's very simple. With an egg hunt of course!

-WAIT PUT THE PITCHFORKS DOWN, IT WAS A JOKE!

You're not searching for eggs, instead... you're searching for hotel guests! It seems Pokecino's database got a bit mixed up during a temporary black out and we're not sure who's who in our registry anymore! That's where you guys come in to help us out! We've got a bunch of tidbits we remember about each character's application... but we don't have a clue whose application they came from! If you can sort out all the clues and send us a note with them-it'd be a huge help! Think of it as checking people off the naughty or nice list! We won't tell you who's good or bad, you can decide that for yourself while you check out their applications!

To also brighten your month with some holiday cheer, for the duration of this event-all charity donations will yield double reputation!

THE TASK: Search through the applications (or guess!) to figure out which character belongs to each clue listed below!  Some are quite obvious (for your own benefit ;D) and others we dug in deep to figure out! Just like our annual egg hunt, send us a note when you've completed your list or however far you wish to go. Copy and paste this list, putting your answers in (brackets) beside each clue. THE REWARD:  100 points will be awarded for every correct answer. An extra 100 will be awarded if all 59 answers are correct. Totaling 6,000 points!


DUE DATE: Entries are due by the 24th of December at 11:59PST.

THE TASK:  Enter the Pokecino Halloween Costume Contest by drawing your character on the template below. We are looking for creativity, effort and believability in your entry- think like they actually wore it. But there's a catch: You have to draw a child with them.



In addition to the drawing, you will be required to write a short written description to go with it- this can be anywhere under or around 1,000 words- relating to the following prompt:

Your character has taken a child trick-or-treating! Who is this child? Is it their own, a friend's, a sibling of theirs or... did they kidnap them? Tell us about their trick-or-treating experience with this child character!

THE REWARD:  Entries will receive 500 Poke + the written submission rate.

The winner of the contest shall receive a first stage pet of their choosing or the equivalent in points (7,000).


DUE DATE: Contest entries are needed in by October 30th; the winner will be announced on October 31st.

Hello everyone~ This is your Service Desk Receptionist with a friendly reminder that communication is one of our greatest assets in the business world~ It helps us establish connections and build relationships towards greater goals~ I enjoy encouraging my guests in Pokecino to interact, even if it's over something frivolous~ That's why I decided to offer my expertise and open up new ways to earn through such events~ Grab your best commentary and be prepared to take the plunge into a new and exciting challenge~

THE TASK: Comment on any deviation submitted to the group from September 19th to the 30th to accumulate points towards this event. Comments must be at least two sentences long and related to the submission it is posted on. At the end of the event, the points will be tallied and a total of five winners will be chosen.

Each original comment will be worth one event point. Only the first comment in a thread counts; replies to comments made will NOT count towards your total. Starting a roleplay with the submitter will earn five event points, but only if the submitter responds. Only one roleplay per submission will count per person, so don't start multiple roleplays on one deviation in the hopes of gaining more points!

For the duration of this event, the submission rates for sketches will be boosted to encourage submissions: regular sketches will be worth 500, sketches with backgrounds will be worth 700, and exceptional sketches will be worth 1,000! Please give us your best!

With the Member Appreciation Event drawing to a close, we would like to make the final announcements! First, thanks to all who participated! To start things off, we'd like to announce the winner of the Manaphy raffle. Drawn directly out of one of Stitches' many top hats...the winner is Soda-Snuggles! Congratulations! Please note the group on which one of your characters will receive the legendary and it will be moved to your account right away.

Reputation has been awarded accordingly to our triathlon participants! Except for Aithley who is already at a stable level of rep! If you would like an exact report of your reputation increase, feel free to note the group.

Due to the lack of participants for the secondary category, we have decided to award both Argentkirin (Kohaku) and Soda-Snuggles (Lyle) the 2,000 point prizes and mystery eggs! Please note the group to hatch your egg!

Last but not least, here is a list of all the wishes made during the Wishing Egg Event and how they were granted. At least-how most of them were granted. We would like to personally thank each and everyone one of you who wished us a vacation. We currently don't have the means to do so but the sentiment was surely appreciated. Now-onto the wishes~!

1. Yoriden wished for our randomizers to stop being an explicitive! The wishing eggs granted her wish by sending her a bunch of free drinks! Her egg hatched into a Finneon-which was donated to VictoriousUsagi and her growing aquarium!

2. B3rryBliss wished for CallouslyCorrupted's character Darien to become a princess! The wishing eggs granted her wish by temporarily changing the bank list, the housing map, and the twitter feed to reflect Darien's newly obtained royalty!

3. Dacatsmeow wished for Yoriden to receive a free pet of her choosing! The wishing eggs granted his wish by sending Yoriden 's Feirdes a lillipup! His egg hatched into a Rhydon!
_{-Dacatsmeow also requested that if Yoriden could not have her pet as his wish, that we may have a time travel event in the future instead... now I'm no expert on the matter... but that wish may or may not have been granted}

4. BaconRainbow wished for Yoriden and AllegedStitches to magically get updated so we have one less thing to work on. Her wish in case that didn't work was to have many happy years with Pokecino! The wishing eggs sent her 3,500 points for not being able to grant this wish! Her egg was sent to VictoriousUsagi's Kellyn and it hatched into a chinchou!

5. ZigZagLin wished for Yoriden and AllegedStitches to get a month long vacation! The wishing eggs sent her 3,500 points for not being able to grant this wish! Her egg hatched into a petilil!

6. KirasDarkLight wished for BaconRainbow's Jade to receive a gift to cheer her up due to a recent tragedy. The wishing eggs granted this wish by featuring Jade in a future Event Artwork coming this November! The mystery egg was gifted to BaconRainbow's Jade and has not hatched as of yet!

7. VictoriousUsagi wished for Yoriden and AllegedStitches to have a vacation before school starts! In case the first wish did not work out, her second wish was to be more active in the group! The wishing eggs sent her 3,500 points for not being able to grant this wish! Her egg hatched into an oshawott!

8. Soda-Snuggles wished for our free 100 point bets to be a regular thing! In case her first wish did not work out, her second wish was to send BaconRainbow's characters 220 points. Due to evening it out, the points sent were raised to 300 points each as the wishing eggs granted her wish. Her egg hatched into a very confusing Sigilyph.

9. Argentkirin wished for someone in need to find 500 points or more. In case the first wish did not work out, her second wish was  to have the remaining weeks of September to be a vacation for Yoriden and AllegedStitches.The wishing eggs sent her 3,500 points for not being able to grant this wish! Her egg hatched into a magby!

10. grantjoey45 wished for Jason to obtain a wigglytuff! The wishing eggs granted this wish by using magic of the mods and turning the egg into an igglybuff! Then somehow, the pokemon was evolved immediately into a Wigglytuff-free of charge!


Once again, thank you to all who participated and while we know school has started back up and many are busy-we hope you keep on the lookout for three events looming over the horizon! It's that time of the year again!

After talking to quite a few members who are still working on their projects for the event, the mods have decided to extend the event for another whole two weeks! Ending the event on the 15th of September, judging will be preformed on the 16th of September. Giving you plenty of time to hurry your collab partner's butts along and get in those last minute details- BUT WAIT... THAT'S NOT ALL.

During this two week process, you will be able to purchase a new character voucher at the front desk. This means you can pay bottom dollar for a new character (7,500) but put off actually submitting the character until you are ready (or capable of making application art). Limit one voucher per account, characters will still be subject to the approval process and must be submitted to the Front Desk for review with the voucher link in the comment before being made official.

Also, AllegedStitches will be extending his Wishing Egg Mini Event until the end of the extension.

We want to thank all of our lovely members yet again for being a part of our group and we hope to bring you more years of fun and fabulous group activities.

This is Ping! That's right, your favorite psyduck reporter-coming at you live from one of the largest events this hunk of junk hotel has ever bro-...what? ...what do you mean I can't call it that? I'm the reporter! You just do your techno camera work! ...hmph! Annnyways! We're at the beach! In the middle of the Wet Season! What a great combo! It seems the hotel has invited everyone residing on the island to join in on the fun down here! There's a bunch of things going on and it's all under the guise of appreciation for their many patrons! If you rich people aren't used to buying cheap, well you're in for something new! There are sales everywhere! Not to mention sandcastle building contests, kite flying, a triathlon for those who actually don't let their maids do everything and it's all planning to end with an all expense paid viewing of the glowing sea at night! I guess you could say this event is going to make you see the island in a different light! Ha! So come on down everyone!

For the ENTIRE month of August, the following services will be available at Reduced Prices.

• Change Guest: Change your current character for 5,000!
• Purchase Another Guest: Buy an additional character for 7,500! (Approval process remains the same)
• Import a Pokeball: Import a pet pokemon for 3,500!

For the ENTIRE duration of the Event, any and all who participate in the tasks listed below will be entered into a Raffle to win... a pet Manaphy!

Regardless of how many pets you already have, you could have the chance to win the legendary as long as you participate in the event. If you have six pets-this pet will take up a special event-only seventh pet slot on your character's bank list! Legendary pets are bound to your account and cannot be transferred to other accounts, nor can they be bred.
Multiple submissions will not give you multiple chances!

Does your character possess a creative mind? No? How about a competitive mind! Take on the challenge of creating a show stopping sandcastle! Do they team up with their loved ones and rebuild the hotel? or do they work alone and build a traditional work of art?


THE TASK: Illustrate your character or collab with another member to show what type of sand art they would build! The judges will be viewing their sand art with believability, creativity, and effort in mind. Would they use special moves to help sculpt? Or their surroundings to add decorative touches? sculpting sandworks of Yori and Stitches are indeed impressive but will not be allowed

There will be two categories: Sandcastle and Sand Sculpture. Please mark your entry with the category first in the title. (Example: "[Sculpture] A Portrait of Feirdes")




On a nice windy day out here on the beach, your character can rent or personally create a kite to fly! Part of the beach has been sectioned off to allow your character to freely run about or stand without worry as they watch their kite soar. Did they pick something to showcase that's personal to them? Does the design of their kite have a story to tell? Did they decide to use a double kite with their best friend or lover?


THE TASK: Draw or write about your character flying a kite, tell us about the design, the reason why they chose that particular kite and how they spend their evening flying it about.




Gear up for the competition of the century! In this "race" to the finish line, your character competes against multiple entrants for the title of Poyi's not laziest finest! The race starts with a run across the island on a rented land pokemon- the choice of the species is entirely yours! Once you make it to the other shore, you can select a water type pokemon to be your mount across the sea! Finally at a checkpoint in the middle of the ocean is a landing pad, where you can then mount a flying pokemon to take to the sky! Meet the finish line back where you started and the prize is yours!


THE TASK: Draw/Write your character participating in the triathlon! Entries must be in order based on mount and position in the race. Time is not actually a factor- so feel free to take it slow. A different mount must be used for each part of the race.


1st Mount: A land dwelling pokemon! Any pokemon that cannot fly may be used in this portion! This race will be across the island- avoiding towns and overly populated areas. Riders will experience obstacles such as jumps and misguiding detours. To advance to the second stage- please illustrate (art or written) how your character and their mount makes their way through the obstacles. Entries are expected to be colored or at least 500 words!

• BONUS: Does your character have a cheering squad? A few pets or family members that had shown up just in time for the event to root for them? Let us see how they show their support for your character! In any medium! This is Optional.

2nd Mount: A sea dwelling pokemon! Any pokemon that can swim but cannot fly may be used in this portion! One large pokemon or several small ones attached to a raft are accepted. This race will be across the ocean, through several hoops in the water to collect flags! Temporary Staff will replace flags as they are collected so multiple racers may pass this stage. Points will be deducted if a racer knocks a staff member off their perch (but not necessarily from your chance at winning!). To advance to the third stage, please illustrate (art or written) how your character and their mount makes their way through the waves and hoops. Entries are expected to be colored or at least 500 words!

• BONUS: Design a real life handcrafted flag based off your character for an added bonus! Take a photo or scan of it and show us. Flags can be paper or cloth, must have visible signs of being related to your character in some way. Tell us how you made it and what inspired you. This is Optional.

3rd Mount: A sky dwelling pokemon! Any pokemon that can fly but cannot surf may be used in this portion! One large pokemon or several smalls ones attached to a glider or balloon are accepted. This race will be across the sky, through checkpoints to high five temporary staff that will monitor your progress. There are wild pokemon in the sky however and they can become very territorial if you venture too far off course! To reach the finish line, please illustrate (art or written) how your character and their mount makes their way through the sky and checkpoints! Entries are expected to be colored or at least 500 words!

• BONUS: Create a paperchild of your character- ah but don't forget their paper airplane so they can ride to victory! Take a photo of it and let your character soar to new heights in the real world! This is Optional.

Well you've all been having fun out and about on the beach but when night falls it's finally time for everyone to take a break and relax. The hotel is paying for any and all guests to venture out on the sea, to view the Chinchou and Lanturn's lights under the water. It's a beautiful sight to see- almost as if there is a whole other starlit sky to view beneath the surface. Characters can travel out solo, in pairs, or a group of friends. The lights can be seen through the glass bottoms of the boats or off the edge.


THE TASK: Draw/Write your character enjoying the nighttime boating tour. A bonus will be added plus an added bonus for each additional character that joins yours in the boat or appears in the background. Please remember to ask permission from the character's owner before featuring them.

THE REWARDS:

• Sand Art Competition: Entries will be awarded an extra 100 points each. Both winners will receive 2,000 points and a mystery egg. If a winner is part of a collaboration, each artist will receive 1,000 points and a mystery egg.
• Kite Flying: Each submission will receive an extra 200 points.
• Triathlon: Regular submission rates apply. Entries that meet the requirements to advance to the next segment will receive an extra 200 points. If the bonus is completed, another 100 points will be awarded.
  • At the end of the event, a reputation bonus will be awarded to each participant based on level of effort. Bonuses range from 5 points of reputation to 40 points.
• The Sea's Nightlights: All submissions towards the Lanturn ride will be awarded an extra 200 points, plus 50 for each additional character featured.

DUE DATE: All competition entries are due by August 31st. Triathlon will be judged per submission but reputation bonus will not be added until the event has concluded. Winners will be announced on September 1st.

1-9 Eggs: 100 points
10-19 Eggs: 1,500 points
20-29 Eggs: 2,500 points
30-39 Eggs: Mystery Egg
40-49 Eggs: First stage pet of choice
All 50 Eggs: A legendary pet

Points have been awarded to those who collected under 30 eggs and mystery eggs have been given to those who earned them.

Those of you who collected more than 40- please contact us to receive your pet of choice.

For the two lucky people who collected all 50 eggs- we will give you a list of approved legendary pokemon to choose from.

Thaaaat's right- legendary pokemon will officially start being available as pets in Pokecino! However, they will be given out rarely and as event prizes only, and the list of approved Pokemon to choose from is small (no super-powerful or one-of-a-kind legendaries made the list). They are not breedable and cannot be transferred between members, so event participation will be the only way to get one.

With most of the island having returned to their normal selves just in time for Easter, the hotel staff have managed to quickly arrange for everyone's favorite annual event! An Easter Azumarill was chosen and now the Pokecino Easter Egg Hunt has officially begun!

THE TASK: A number of pokemon easter eggs have been hidden in various locations around the group and it is your task to find them!

Compile a list of eggs and locations (preferably in alphabetical order by pokemon) and submit them in a note to the group. Limit one note per participant. So only submit either after you have found them all or are completely finished looking for them. Remember not to share answers to where eggs are hidden with other members- prizes depend on how many people have found them.

There are a total of 50 eggs in all. Good luck!

Now the "magic" is leaving everyone's bodies and slowly they're changing back to normal. Some...less than others, some maybe more. Either way you can finally reach the doorknobs and wear your clothes again! Thanks to all who participated but don't relax just yet...something looms over the horizon! An old friend is back in town~

The xatu had been waiting for this day. The pot was boiling over with the ingredients, creating a heavy breathable smoke like substance. It was now or never. Chanting the words described in the book and releasing all of the psychic energy into the pot that he could, he unleashed the magic onto the island! Surely this would help...! When the smoke finally settled, he turned to his espeon to ask if they could understand each other...only to notice the cat was suddenly much bigger...or rather...he was much smaller.



That's right! The magic smoke turned everyone who breathed it into their pokemon form! Since it covered the entire island in the blast, no one was safe from it and even the natives  in the jungle were affected! The smoke disappeared like fog in the morning but the affect still remains...it may wear off eventually...but until then, you're trapped!

At least you can still talk...

THE TASK: Show/write how your character reacts to being trapped in their pokemon form!  Can they get used to their new bodies right away? Or do they walk awkwardly for a while? Can they still use their moves or do things blow up in their face? Were you somehow not affected?! HOW DID YOU REACT TO SEEING YOUR FRIENDS WHO WERE?! Are you going to search for a cure or just put up with those around you suddenly having more features than normal?

Well we knew that haunter can't keep a secret for too long and he finally snapped. Hovering above his tarps and construction crews, the man spread his arms and bellowed to any of the masses nearby.

"SURPRISE! I have brought to you a new location! Sure to delight and astound you! A place full of fun and excitement, thrills and chills-that's right! I BROUGHT YOU-"



Sometime within the next couple of months (reveal date pending due to previous plans for other events), a new roleplay location will be opening on the island. The theme park will provide the island with new revenue and give you and your characters a new place to interact with others. Plenty of rides (mostly pokemon themed) and wonderful decorations, we can't wait for you all to enjoy it.

In concern for the Construction Chaos event however, due to lack of participation the raffle will not be held and the regular prize will simply be rewarded-guessing not required. Thanks to all who did participate and we hope you're all mentally prepared for the next event.

Submissions will now be accepted until the 10th at 11:59pm PST! Guessing will be accepted on the 11th at 12:00amPST! We hope to see more submissions~

Those construction noises just kept getting louder didn't they! Day and night, with bright lights and chattering workers. The source was finally revealed however as large vehicles started appearing throughout the island (carrying heavy machinery wrapped secretly), all heading to a specific point. That haunter who was throwing food at people has returned and he's wearing the leader's hardhat. What's he up to? Well that remains to be seen as there are giant tarps and "Do not Enter" signs everywhere! None of the island staff are saying anything either but can you resist not trying to find out?

Try as you might to find out, you're bound to get caught by security or the haunter and shoo'd along. Maybe if you gather enough information, you can figure out just what is going on around here!

THE TASK: Draw or write your character trying to get information on the situation. Whether that be sneaking into the construction zone, sweet talking the staff or maybe something even the security hasn't thought of-let's see what you come up with!

When you submit a work you will receive a clue regarding the secret. Gather as many clues as you can and if you guess correctly on the last day of the event-you'll receive a prize!


THE REWARD: 200 extra points attached to every submission towards the event.  Those that guess correctly at the end date will receive an Event Exclusive Coupon earning you a free bet of 1,000 points in either the High Roller's Lounge or Underground Dealing, 2,000 points, and entered in a raffle to win a grand prize of a mystery Fully Evolved Pet.
