Yechii suggestion for the redraw you're doing o:

so this is my baby who passed away only about half a year after i drew this, and i've been meaning to redraw it but i never had the time/energy or i just ended up getting too emotional or too perfectionist to finish it ;; this style is just so outdated now and i'm tired of looking at it |D
(not trying to get sympathy points here btw, you just mentioned a small description would be sweet :^P)

if you go for it i could link some better refs of him maybe?
regardless i can't wait to see what you do with whichever piece you choose <3
