2014: Doctor Who Group

My dear friend called me in October 2013 to ask me if I would do Rose for a Doctor Who group she was planning. Until then, I only knew the series by name and was very reluctant to watch it since there war far to many fangirls for my liking... -.-"
But since she is so veeeeeery convincing , I started to watch the series together with my bf. It took us some episodes, but we started to like it and soon became Whovians. Much too soon ^^"
When we came out of the cinema after watching the 50th anniversary special, my bf decided to do the War Doctor for our group, and we started to gather all things we needed for the cosplays...
It was very hard to get my hands on clothes that resemble Rose's, so I started to collect clothes for two outfits - just to make sure that one of the two will be complete for TiCon, where we wanted to wear the costumes.
But I really completed BOTH of the costumes, I still can't believe it! XD

At TiCon I wore Rose's outfit as seen in the episodes 'Stolen Earth' and 'Journey's End'.
It's not absolutely screen acurate, but I nevertheless love the outfit. That's also because of the great group I am lucky and proud to be part of ^^
The wig's roots have been hand-dyed by me. I thought it very important to have these dark roots - it is a crucial part of the character for me!
