Description
Use the Gear symbol underneath the video to get the high res 720p version & don't forget to turn on your speakers!
Since sometimes it is very hard to describe what I do in written form, I decided to create a Video Tutorial for Advanced Lighting. Excuse some issues with noise / my voice being sometimes a little louder or more quiet - I'm still trying to get the hang of this
What you will & won't learn in this video:
I'm going to show you how I did the lighting for Beneath the Tulips - keep in mind that while most of my steps are often similar no matter what image I'm using, not everything is applicable in other lighting situations. This is an advanced tutorial, so I will not be fussing over every button I press. There are some captions on the right side to help you with the main points, but other than that I will just assume you know your way around Photoshop and if you hear or see something unfamiliar know how to search for it -- if you really can't find anything, feel free to ask, of course! Finally, I just hope you're going to get something out of this and will leave a comment to let me know what you think
Quick Finder (total length: 20 minutes):
00:55 Adjustment Layers
01:26 Colour Gradients
02:42 Shadows & Highlights
11:05 Lense Flare
13:07 Glow
18:21 Finishing Touches
Finished Artwork:

Overview: Photoshop / Photomanipulation TutorialsThis is an overview of the Photomanipulation / Photoshop Tutorials available in my Gallery. Some are a little old (still using PS7), but the principles are still valid (even though some of the really old ones may seem outdated aesthetically). Generally, the further down in each list, the newer the tutorials. Tutorials with this symbol are video tutorials.or in my gallery folder.
At the bottom, you will also find a list of possible future tutorials, a collection of ideas. If you have something I could add to this list, do feel free to comment and let me know!
Photoshop / Photomanipulation Tutorials Overview
Note that some tutorials would fit in more than one category, but I chose not to repeat them!
For Beginners
If you are new to Photoshop / Photomanipulation, this is where you can start to get "into the groove".
