I have decided to host a contest!
Please spread the word! I will feature you in this journal if you share by making your own journal about the contest!
There are two different categories, huge point prizes and a very special colaberation prize -w-
The contest
So do you remember this pretend poster I made:
Well, right after I finished it I decided that I really really wanted to make a short comic with the title: "Even White Wolves Cry". I wanted to include the white wolf with the scars. She is not crying as in human tears, but crying as in howling. I wanted the comic to be about pride. I also wanted to write the story in a fairytale style (once upon a time).
However, I never continued writing.
This plot (which is not really a plot, rather an idea) is just my atempt at
making something worthwhile reading and adapting into a comic.
Though I really want to make a comic, I know I won't finish the script.
Thats where this contest comes in:
I wan't you to write/draw your own story about pride.
About this wolf with scars and with the title: Even White Wolves Cry.

What I really want from this contest is to decide on a plot.
However, I know some users like drawing more than writing so I decided to make this contest into two different categories.
Litterature:
Write a short story, novel or a chapter of the story. The title have to be "Even White Wolves Cry".
You can decide wheter to write a short story, novel or a chapter of a novel; as well as including your idea for the rest of the story (plot).
It just need to be an idea!
if you win I would like to develop the story with you.
No page limit.
I really want the theme to be "pride", but if you have a better idea go ahead!

If you prefer drawing before writing you should choose this category!
Draw a scene/panel from the comic/animated series "Even White Wolves Cry".
The story and plot behind the scene is all up to you. But no including your own characters (unfortunely).
You need to know where in the story this scene will appear, and it needs a backstory written in the artist comment. You can even add a plot if you like! But that is not neccesary.
You have to include the white wolf from the poster, and if you want: design more wolves.

There is no entry limit, you can enter as many times as you like. You need to include your idea for the remaining story(plot). You can write a novel, short story or a novel chapter, but no poems. The screenshot/panel need to look like a screenshot/panel from a movie/comic.No illustrations, character designs (this can be added on the side) or covers.
Backgrounds and colours is optionary, though I would reccomend it. No OCs, please make up new characters for your entry. You need to include the screenshots/panels backstory in the artist comment. you can enter in both categories, and you can also win in both. The story/screenshot/panel needs to be your original idea/story/drawing, no tracing or copying.What I will be looking for
I will be looking for an original and wonderful story to illustrate! I need it to be captivating both in plot and visuality.
I will be selecting the winners by how good they captured my imagination. I'm very sure all of you will come up with wonderful stories! And deciding who will win will be very hard. Best of luck to you!

This could be the introduction to a story about pride
"Elsa!", sussurated Jeremy and craweld over to his sister. "Elsa! Are you awake?" Elsa flattened her ears and opened one of her eyes to see what her little brother needed. "You ought to sleep, JJ" she gnarled as she saw him sitting in front of her. "Elsa, I think there is somebody who needs our help!"
- Now Elsa was wide awake. "Our help?" she echoed. At the same moment she heard it as well: There was a distant waile, whining through the cold night as if somebody was crying his soul out of his furry body in grief.
"Let's go and see", Elsa muttered while she already stepped out of the cavern, followed by her brother Jeremy. It was not hard to know the direction since the sound was constantly carried to the sensitive wolf ears by a soft but icy wind. Jeremy was already at good speed and overtook Elsa so that his grey body was about to vanish from her eyes when she cried out: "JJ, wait!". She squinted her e

The darkness settled over the horizon and the hunt began. Great howls of dismay rang out through the precarious cliffs as another wolf was shot down. Footsteps were heard pounding on the snow as humans jumped from trucks, rifles loaded.
She ran, her white fur glistening in the faint moonlight. But where was he? Where was her beloved mate? Frantically, she spun around, slipping on the frigid ice. Her amber eyes darted from side to side as a deafening howl of pain shot through the otherwise silent forest. She recognised that howl. It belonged to him.
And that's when she realised, that she was alone.
But she cannot show fear. She cannot let them see her despair. She has to be strong for the sake of her pack. If they see their leader fallen into a fit of dismay, they will lose hope. So she keeps running, and they keep chasing.

Hi there! It's been a really long time since I was actually active here on DA. Somehow I feel like I've lost some of that attachment I had to this platform when I was younger, but I still come back sometimes to remember the good times and all the art I did. If you are curious about where I have been: I did graduate from FZD school of design in 2016, I got a job at Atomhawk design shortly after in England, Worked there for two years and now recently quit to do freelance and my own art! Long Time No Update
Hey guys, It's been a while!
I haven't had the time to be very active on here lately and I thought I'll update you guys a little.
I'm now halfway through FZD School of design and during the 6 months I've been here I've improved a lot. I'm drawing subjects I never thought I was able to before coming here and It's been a blast. I won't say that it hasn't been hard ( include a couple of breakdowns and stress sickness) but it has been extremely rewarding so far. I'm working 12 - 16 hours a day to finish all the homework we're assigned and weekends is just as hectic (with the exception of more sleep) So I simply don't have much time for DA et t

I really can't wait! I got accepted into the June semester at FZD School of Design in Singapore last week and I'm so excited!! I will also travel to Japan 1th of April which means I'll have to leave for Singapore at once when I get home from Japan (I'll be in Japan for 7 weeks). So much is happening in my life at the moment and it's all very exciting, I just can't wait.. and it's only 3 1/2 months until I'll start traveling ~ ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ Gosh, so happy... well whish me luck! I know this will be an extremly difficult course and I'll probably have to work 18 hours a day with school work, but it's art so it'll be ok (and it's t
