Welcome back to the 5th Annual Emote Awards!
After 3 weeks of nominations, 3 weeks of nominations, and about a week and a half of waiting for me to count tallies and write journals, we're finally at the end of the line! The winners for the 2013 Emote Awards have been decided!
For each winner, a special award plaque will be posted in their category, that is free for them to use wherever they please. A plaque will also be posted for all nominees to use, regardless if they won or not.
With all the formalities out of the way, let's get to announcing the winners!

Congratulations!Congrats to all the winners! To those of you that didn't get the grand prize, don't worry, you can still celebrate! Since being nominated is such an honor in itself, any nominee can feel free to use this nominee plaque, wherever they please!

Hey guys, I apologize for taking so long to get this journal out, but some people wanted a bit more time for votes, and college is stealing all of my free time and (the very little amount of) energy needed to update this! :noes:
Anyway, with the large amount of nominations we received in some categories, numerous ties have risen for 1st place in a handful of categories! We need EVERYONE to re-cast their votes to help decide a winner!

After three weeks of nominations, it's finally time to vote! Before the nominees are revealed, we'd like to do a small recap of the rules.
Rules
:bulletpurple: The voting period will last for three weeks, from January 26, 12 AM EST, until February 16, 11:59 PM EST. Any votes cast outside of this time frame, within reason, will not be counted.
:bulletpurple: You can only vote for one nominee in each category. If you want to include a reason why you're voting for that nominee, you may include one, but it isn't required. Click here for a template that you can use

A lot has happened in the past year, and it's time once again to commemorate those awesome people that helped make it happen! And it can only be done with the help from you and the rest of the community! So I'll stop blabbering on and move right on to the important stuff.

At long last, the day had come. After 3 weeks of nominations and another 3 weeks of voting, the polls are closed, the ballots have been counted, and Krissi001 (https://www.deviantart.com/krissi001) and Mirz123 (https://www.deviantart.com/mirz123) are here to announce the winners of the 2012 Emote Award.!
