It's finally here! I'm really excited to present this to you guys and fill you in on this new option.

Just some quick history to let people know some background on the new option.

Previously in HSV each player could only create one playable shinobi character that could be ranked up and played in RP's. However since people really enjoy creating characters and enjoy having multiple OC's for the same world, it was decided that rather than limit everyone to only one character, we would change the rule and let people create another one. This has been in the works for awhile now and discussed a good deal in the backroom to figure everything out, and now it is presented to you all.

This isn't an offer that expires either or has time constraints on it!

There are a few rules and requirements, but they're pretty minimal.
The goal of this is to allow people to explore more characters and personality types, different paths, different abilities, different clans and just different stories and overall have even more fun by adding more characters to the HSV world.

Before you get started on making another character though, let me give you a heads up about the requirements for making a second OC and some general character rules.

ACHIEVEMENT:

Second Playable Character Has Been Unlocked

I couldn’t resist using the game terminology there.

1. How to unlock a second character?

• Everyone starts off with one character, but once your first character has achieved the rank of chuunin, you are allowed to create a second ninja character!

2. Rules For Second Characters:

• All second characters start at the level of academy student and are ranked up just like the first character.
  
  
• Your first and second character cannot be in a romantic relationship together. (This rule is to ensure people branch out from only playing with their own characters.)
  
  
• Your first and second character CAN be related, though they do not have to be.
  
  
• You cannot rank up your first and second character at the same time. For instance if there is a chuunin/jounin exam, you can only enter one character into the exam.
  
  
• You cannot combine prompts to apply to both characters. Even if both appear in a story or picture together, prompts/missions/ect can only apply to ranking up one. Each character rank up must be done separately.
  
  
• You cannot play your first and second character in chat together at the same time. If you start with your first and want to switch to your second character, or vice versa, you can. Just let other people in the chat know so that there’s no confusion.
  
  
• Your second character must include pink somewhere in their outfit as it is HSV's official color. It can be of any shade. Here is an explanation of what the different shades of pink mean in case you want to give deeper meaning to your characters outfit
  
  
• Stat Wheels are now different from how they previously were, same with elements. Rather than the admins making/choosing your stats and element, that is left up to you. You now get to distribute the stat points and choose your own elemental affinity!
  
  
• Once you've come up with an element of choice & with an idea of your character's strong and weak points - COMMENT on the Official Stat Blog to receive your official stat wheel.
  
  
• When naming your character please check the Census blog to make sure the name you're thinking about isn't already taken. It just cuts down on confusion to not have two characters with the same name (especially when in chatroom).
  
  
• You will receive the Registration # for your second OC once you've submitted their Shinobi Profile

Extra Information:

• Missions

  Everything in HSV is voluntary but there was concern that having two characters might put stress on someone as far as team and pair missions go.
  
  

• Pair Missions:

  For that reason with pair missions, you can use whatever character you want, but you can only sign up for one pair mission.
  
  

• Team Missions:

  • Each character can participate in their teams team mission.
    
  • However if you feel that you cannot handle two team missions a month, the only thing you need to do is if both of your teams are planning to do a mission, simply contact one of them and let them know that you can’t participate for that month.
  • That way they know what’s going on and everyone can still do a mission and have fun without worrying about leaving others hanging.
