A cool hand traces along your arm, ending at your wrist before grasping your hand almost desperately.
"Hey there." A calm and soothing male voice with a bit of a rumbling tone is just barely detectable. "How are you?" The voice pauses, as though waiting for a response from you. “... I realize I should have come earlier; but the guards refused to leave me alone, and I could find no time before this to visit you. Please forgive me.”
The hair is brushed away from your face, and a finger gently rubs your cheek. “It pains me to see you like this, Love.” Another pause, and the hand leaves your face to rejoin the one at your hand.
“You've no idea how much I miss you, my love. If only that blasted oaf Thor hadn't neglected to do what I had asked him; you might still be here.... “ The voice sighs, and the hands begin to fiddle with your fingers.
“They say that people in comas often develop a separate reality in their vegetative state. Reality can come about in the forms of a film or novel, but those in the coma don't believe it to be real. Not to mention that their role in reality is all but forgotten. At least, they claim that is how one can develop amnesia after a coma. Do you see me as a work of fiction? Heh, I wonder how you'd even be able to imagine the battle at New York as a film; or the fiasco with those Dark Elves for that matter. Would you remember how we infiltrated the helicarrier? It was mostly your doing; after all. What about battling Stark or capturing Barton? Are even these memories lost on you, having been altered and warped so you no longer recall your place in it at all? I hope not. I hope that you can remember it in some way.”
“...They also say that those in a coma can hear and possibly feel all that happens around them. That's another reason I'm here, you see. Even if you can't respond, I want you to hear my voice, and listen to my words. I don't want you to go through this alone, and I want you to know that even if you can't always hear me I will be here, waiting for you. How I wish I could bring you with me to Azgard, where we could bring you back in a heartbeat; but alas, if I did that, then suspicions would arise and my ruse would be made known. Just sleep well, my Darling, and I hope that these words have somehow managed to reach you, be it in the words of a stranger or letters on parchment. I promise, I will have you back no matter what it may take.”
The hands leave you, and for a moment all is still. You then feel the press of someone's lips against your forehead, and you feel a slight chill rush through your body before the lips leave. A forehead presses against yours, and you can feel breath flow against your chin.
“I will have you back.” The voice repeats almost demandingly. The breathing stops and you are left alone, with only the echo of footsteps and the sound of rushing wind left behind.

The Darkness Within Yourself (Loki X Reader)
Chapter 1
Reader POV
I followed Director Fury quietly matching his steps. My green hood hung over my head and my mask on, making it were no one could see what I looked like. He had given me a file regarding something called the Tesseract, some other world object yet to be discovered what potential . I was assigned to help Agent Clint Barton keep an eye on it, and to occasionally do test on it for I was a scientist for the longest time until my accident. I enter the room with Director Fury and I went off to speak with Barton, leaving Fury to talk to Eric. Barton came down from his "nest" as we have been putting it. He walked over to me, with a

Loki x Reader: He Declared War Pt. 3
You were lying on the bed in the chambers you shared with Loki, your head resting against his chest. He was holding a book in one hand, reading silently, while he used his other one to gently play with your hair. Your breathing was slow as it followed the pattern of the god's heartbeat. You felt safe in this moment, in his strong, cold arms. You wanted it to last forever, and not have to leave his embrace anymore. Sadly, you were still human, and you had pitiful needs.
The sun was setting behind the Asgardian city; another tiring day had come to an end, and you reviewed the battle you had won with Loki against Thor and the others. Yo

The Hollowing (LokixReader)
Part 6: Battle of the Ages
"YEEEAAAAAH!"
Thor's shout of excitement was enough to silence the entire arena. "He's a friend from work!" He yelled to them then pointed to the Hulk as he looked at Loki. "Loki look! He's here!"
Loki looked in shock while he quietly sat back in his chair. "You look like you're ready to have a heart attack," (YN) teased. "Shut up," Loki muttered back.
"Hey Banner!" Thor said to him.
"No Banner, only Hulk!" Hulk answered, holding up his weapons as he watched the audience then turned to Thor. "What are you doing? It's me, Thor!" He protested, only have Hulk rush at him, then slam down on the ground in an attempt
