First Successful Art Table
I say "First" but really it was the third nerd convention I had sold art at, though only the second I'd been at in person.
But the first one where I actually made any money!
I was actually very surprised. It was a rather small convention in a reasonably large city in the Midwest. It was actually the first Comic Convention I'd been to, the countless other cons I'd attended had all be anime themed.
Whereas I had sold exactly 1 print and a negligible number of commissions at either of my previous cons, at this one I sold a whopping 20 prints and 5 commissions.
Luckily I wasn't there alone. It wasn't exactly my art table, but one representing

ALL REQUESTS DONE- Free Small Character Request
UPDATE: All the requests are finished now! And look at that I even finished them on time! Or... only a half hour late!
What's up guys? I am back and I am ready to do some art.
I have a lot of new artworks to show you but unfortunately, I don't have access to my school's scanner at the moment, so that'll have to wait a week or two. But I'm planning to do a little art promo in the meantime here. I hope to have a little burst of artwork here to wrap up Summer. So the first three people to comment on this journal will receive a free small character commission from me.
These will be simple, and may not be in color. The style I use will be up
Three Marker Challenge - Can you count to 35?
What's up everyone?
I'm here with a little project that I need your help with. I am going to be doing some Three-Marker Challenges. For those unfamiliar, what that basically amounts to is that I will be creating random little sketches and coloring them with three--and only three-- copic markers. Usually an artist will just pick out three randomly when they do the sketch, but in order to make this a little interactive for you, I've already picked out 35 trios of markers (randomly, of course) and I want you to pick a number 1-35. I'll make a picture out of the markers the number you picked correspond to.
This is going to be a more casual p

1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was the first game I ever played, but Pokémon: Blue Version was the first game I ever owned.
2. Super hero? I don't follow super heroes. I would probably have to go with... the Hero of Time. -facepalm-
3. The babe with the power --of Voodoo! Who do? You do!
4. Whatever tickles my fancy at a given moment. Some examples have been an angel, a pantheonic god from an alternate universe named Vivaereth, an eagle, a cat (I actually carried on a 10 minute conversation with one of my cats several years ago... no joke), a dolphin, or any number of heroes from an alternate universe known as Hyrule... just to name a few.
5. My favorite artistic medium to work with is sound.
6. Define weird. I don't know that I've ever been surprised by anything... Possibly the idea of a girl getting a phone call... being transported to an alternate universe... meeting a guy whose father was from her own universe... and finding out her mother was from this alternate universe... and that she's part multi-tailed fox... That's got to be pretty up there with "weird".
7. I had a pet rock once. I was so sad the day it ran away...
8. I would totally stick half of it in a bank, and I would establish a scholarship for aspiring music- (or possibly just creative-) majors. Technically, that's giving, not spending.
9. Hmm... That's tough. I like all your OC's. But (let's see if you see this coming...) I'd say my favorite would have to be the couple (two is one, right?) Derrel and Meioni.
10. Hmm... At my mom's it would be my ocarina - since it's the only one I have that isn't broken yet. At my grandma's it would have to be my -gasp- either my Confirmation Bible or my little French horn...
