Part 1:
His grandfather, Albert Wesker, told Malcolm II, "The world is yours, Malcolm. It just doesn't know it, yet."  

It was a spin on a quote from one of his Pop-Pop's all-time favorite movies.  (Yes, Wesker is a MAJOR fan of Scarface, showing it to his family every Christmas... over & over again.).

Malcolm was only 16 at the time, but he was already given the duty of becoming the Legacy Heir of--not one-- but two families. The Wesker & the Landgraab.  



Since he was a toddler, Malcolm II's maternal grandfather (Malcolm Landgraab), had taught his 'Golden Boy" business, investments, the market, politics, and elite society. His grandmother was a field agent for the government and taught her grandbaby how to survive, how to lay low, how to be unseen and strike.

Albert Wesker, the paternal grandfather, taught Malcolm II... another form of domination through science, bio-weaponry, and being a fucking, evil, meticulous bastard. 
Jill Valentine, his paternal 'Na-Na; was former Delta Force, former cop, and BSAA officer who taught Malcolm II how to make his own luck even during the worst scenarios,  she taught him the how to decipher real friends, and how to kick the shit out of enemies.... no matter what they are.
