Shadow commandos : Peter Hartford

This is another member of the shadow commandos : Peter Hartford, the loyal Tommy and Louis's "older brother" (actually they're only very good friends).

Peter was born in London in november the 5th 1922, he's from a privileged white anglo-saxon protestant background. His father was a world war one veteran who came out of it safe and sound, partly thanks to Louis's father who saved him from a shell during one of the French/British assault in the battle of la Somme. Which cost to this last one his right leg.
James Hartford always thought that he owed him one, this day has come in 1939 when Pascal de Rastignac asked him to keep his son out of the war before the fall of France. Then the young Louis came to Britain to be spared of the regime of Vichy, Peter was quite distant with him in the beggining and was also making fun of his Frenchy accent and his difficulties in English at his arrival.
But day after day, he took the time to know him, to apreciate him, to overcome the bombardements and this last one's father's death with him... At the end, he had the feeling to know as an only son what it was to have a brother, a feeling shared by Louis too.
Then they became inseparables, and this is toghether that they commited to land on northern French coasts in july the 6th 1944, and after that when Peter have learnt about the fact that Louis was requested to join the shadow commandos, he was volunteer to join it too...
Peter is sometimes showing himself as too much protective with Louis which was often wearing him out because he felt stifled under all that protection. But during the war, Peter was also worried about Louis's sanity as his longing to avenge his father's death made of him a violent blood-thirsty avenger.
