Aela is extremely loud, stern, boastful, and headstrong; she serves as a huge moral boost on and off the field.
She is extremely hospitable to all, but has a slight tendency to be a little physical with the occasional rough-housing.  

Being a little sheltered growing up, Aela is easily impressed with all kinds of skills, performances and even petty party tricks, especially 'fascinated by the abilities that can be achieved by other races, she will think it's the bee's-knees and compliment you like a million dollars. 
Unless it's swimming-- she's extremely competitive when it comes to swimming, and in her eyes, you all suck. 

She may be a little naive and childish at times, but if you challenge her, be ready for a fight, because she's got a viperous tongue and isn't afraid to spit! 

But she's had her fair of petty fighting; for her, it's just a momentary rush-- she simply lives for the good times!

Aela was born and raised on Zoran Isle-- she was highly energetic and just could not sit still! Her spirit, which was considerably "tomboy-ish", attributed to her desire to go out with her [pushover] father on his daily hunt, despite her mother's desires for a tender upbringing, she allowed it under the conditions that she "does not leave the to the outskirts of Zoran Isle" and "come back before sunset".
Aela, as desperate as she was, abided to the constrictions, leaving her to play with the boys who were also left behind by their fathers who continued with their hunt-- though, even with her free spirit, being held back like this lead to her growing up a little oblivious to the outside world.  

She was teased by her peers for her small fins, which began her small streak of fights. She worked and trained herself up to be exceptionally fast in the water, as well as on the land-- over the years, she had about perfected her strange technique and, along with the streak of petty fights, was a streak of races, won!

As she got older, Aela calmed down and retired her openly stupid attitude and returned to a more homely-lifestyle-- making up for lost time with her mother. In time, she was old and skilled enough to begin hunting with her father with the skills he had taught her.

During one of the scavenges, she came across the the Dawn Wolf base-camp and was instantly drawn to it with curiosity.

Finally, after mustering up the courage, she pursued in joining the ranks of Dawn Wolf-- though lacking in raw power, she hoped to impress them with her speed, agility, and improvised fighting style.

> There's nothing too special about her spear-- it's lovingly crafted by herself, like most weapons of [Zora] hunters and warriors. 

> Her armor is also self-crafted, on-and-off over time, on the side-- it is fashioned and polished with the toughest, highest quality shells she could get her hands on.

> The 'shell-tie' was made with her mother; a sentimental token.

> Her toned legs help her to propel through the water; a compensation for her small fins.
>>> Despite this heaviness in her lower-half, she's extremely agile and quick on her feet, which majorly contributes to her playful fighting style.

> She is terrified of any animal that is not a fish-- by now, she's become accustomed to being around horses, but that doesn't mean she doesn't get nervous;;! 

> Teased for her small fins as a kid, she was given the nickname "Sardine", which she still absolutely despises.
