My TMNT Girls p.1

All six of my TMNT Girls, I just wanted to share this with everyone since I'm getting ready to redesign Sarah, Laura, Ashley, and Yoko/Lin to make them look subtly different from the turtles.  Since the turtles were, in fact, turtles before their mutation I thought it would be appropriate if my four girls were slightly different since they were not turtles at any time.  Yoko/Lin was a human before her mutation and Sarah, Ashley, and Laura are from another planet/dimension of turtleoid-creatures, thus it seems inappropriate - at least to me - that they all resemble female mutant turtles when none of them are in fact "mutant turtles" well with the hesitant exception of Yoko/Lin.

Species: mutated tokay gecko {melanistic morph}
Basic Story: Bred and raised in captivity, Shadow was adopted by a spoiled little rich girl, named Mira, as a hatchling and lived as Mira's best friend and pet in Florida when she somehow came into contact with some mutagen which ultimate mutated her to her current state. Mira and her family seemed to accept the mutation, and as far as Shadow could tell, took her into their confidence as a member of the family, even though she was continued to be treated like the most exotic pet ever.  Though one day she was stolen away when the Kraang found out about her, and shipped her off to New York to the head of Kraang operations and the mutant prison they were trying to build to contain the mutants created from accidental exposure to mutagen.  While caged in the Kraang prison, the turtles also somehow end up being captured, and in an escape attempt, manage to unlock numerous cells - including Shadow's - eventually bumping into each other when Shadow encourages the turtles not to open door looking for a way out.

Basic Story: Introduced in the third edition of my TMNT FanFiction saga; "Downfall", Sarah is a very close friend to Laura and Ashley, bordering on sibling devotion, Sarah is overtaken with a sense of emotionless distrust and hatred toward any living creature and locks herself away in her laboratory, burying herself in her work.  It is later learned that this behavior is very out-of-character for Sarah, as Ashley and Laura invite the turtles to their homeworld to help them bring back their "sister", as the twin princesses are absolutely certain that Donatello is the perfect person for the job.  But when nothing seems to work, and Sarah is brought to full-on threatening the lives of the turtles if they don't leave her alone, they start pressing Laura and Ashley for answers when the terrapin family discovers that Sarah's dark personality was caused by the recent death of her young son, and that her so-called "lover" laid the blame completely on Sarah.

Basic Story: Introduced in the second edition of my TMNT FanFiction saga; "Climax", Laura is the Crown Princess of a turtleoid homeworld about to be married off to some stranger of her father's choosing in preparation of his eldest daughter taking his place upon the throne.  Dreading her arranged marriage, her younger twin sister, Ashley, convinces her to enjoy her freedom before it's taken from her forever by joining her and sneaking off to engage in the Battle Nexus one last time.  But Ashley and Laura's lives are turned on their heads when they go to the Battle Nexus and meet the turtles, end up facing off against them in the battle, and things only heat up when Lin is accidentally mistaken for one of the princess twins and becomes the target of an attempted assassination.

Basic Story: Introduced in the first edition of my TMNT FanFiction saga; "New Beginnings", Lin's mother was taken in by Oroku Saki when she was still pregnant with her unborn daughter, and Oroku enticed her to stay with him by diluting the young woman of how much he cared for her and how much he wanted to be Lin's father.  After Lin was born, she was raised by Oroku Saki, though beyond her mother's trusting gaze, he proved to be a vile creature of corruption and blood lust as he took Lin away from her mother almost everyday from the time she could hold a utensil in her hand and tried to break her independent will, in order to mold her into the perfect weapon of obedience and destruction.  Unlike her older sister, Karai, Lin was not taught to fight with "honor", she wasn't really taught to fight at all, only to survive.  And kill.  But unfortunately for the Shredder, she refused to bend to his will, and instead accidentally forged a split personality in order to appease her "father", one of brutality and chaos.  When Shredder moved his enterprise to New York, Lin was kept in Tokyo under heavy guard for the day he would call upon her again.  When Lin was finally summoned to rejoin her father and sister in New York, the Shredder had planned on using his daughter of destruction to infiltrate and destroy his most wretched terrapin foes from the inside.  By using the genetic genius of his science division, and discreetly acquired samples of the turtles' DNA, Oroku had his daughter mutated into a terrapin form, but since he absolutely despised her new form, he had a type of hologram invention created and built into the necklace Lin's mother had given her as a small child, thus disguising the wearer in a realistic image of Lin before she was mutated.

Basic Story:  Introduced in the second edition of my TMNT FanFiction saga; "Climax", Ashley is the twin sister to Laura and a lesser princess to a turtleoid homeworld.  When Ashley realizes just how upset her sister is at having to marry a complete stranger just to appease their father, she attempts to cheer her sister up with the prospect of sneaking off to compete in the Battle Nexus one last time, but everything gets flipped upside down when they meet the Turtle brothers for the first time, and even end up competing against them in the Arena, and first impressions only go from bad to worse when Lin is accidentally mistaken for one of the princess twins and becomes the target of an attempted assassination in the middle of a competition.

Species: mutated Indian Star Tortoise
Basic Story: During a raid on Bishop's lab, Mikey comes across something awe-inspiring, a beach ball sized turtle egg inside a climate-controlled glass case with sensors and wires hooking it to numerous monitors and the like.  Intrigued and not just a little curious, Mikey finds himself plucking the sensors off the egg's surface and taking the warm shell which seemed to hum with life, and running to catch up with his brothers.  When they realize the egg is still alive, the brothers struggle to keep it that way when they finally get back to the lair, until it eventually hatches and the brothers meet their new baby sister.
