Since Miranda was a victor from the 73rd Hunger Games, she volunteered for an unstable girl from 10. She's placed in the in the Quarter Quell and it's the 2nd day. She left behind the belt that acts as a flotation device with her other stuff because she doesn't need it at the moment because she's hunting.

I kinda thought that the song Abraham's Daughter fit in a way.

Abraham took Isaac's hand and led him to the lonesome hill.
While his daughter hid and watched,
She dare not breathe, she was so still.
Just as an angel cried for the slaughter,
Abraham's daughter raised her voice.

Then the angel asked her what her name was,
She said, "I have none."
Then he asked, "How can this be?"
"My father never gave me one."

And when he saw her, raised for the slaughter,
