Oh, Son, What Have You Done...

Yes, I said that my next drawing would not be a fan art. I lied. I am a huge lier, actually.

I know this is a complete headcanon, but I like the idea that Fausticorn is the mother of Celestia, Luna and Discord. And like a mom, she must have been deeply grieved to see that her dear son was turned into a statue by his own sisters and her daughters. She couldn't even release him (it's surely in her powers, she is an allmighty goddess after all) because, well, he is too dangerous for others, so this is for the best.
But even though she knows that it is all his own fault, and that he has done a lot of terrible things, Fausticorn can't stop loving him and wishing that he was free and lived a happy life.
So she keeps visiting Discord in a Canterlot garden, and every time she can't hold back her tears.

Probably the same was with Luna when she had been sent to the Moon, but at least they could talk to each other. And Luna already has too many sad pictures dedicated to her banishment, so I didn't bother to draw another one XDD and for me Luna is just a little brat with ambitions too big, I don't really feel sorry for her XDD

The Fausticorn's pose is far from best for this picture because you can't see her cutie mark, so you'll probably wander 'who is that 0_o???', but I've noticed it too late((( I've spend too much time on this picture already <_< Hope you still like it
