I don't have as much time to do these and since I missed mother's day, I decided to just go with a related theme: some great female related art. Enjoy!!
If you've ever read the book you'll know just how bad ass this 'little girl' really is.

Secretive EyesHer eyes are green as envy<da:thumb id="199593104"/>
But jealous she is not
Her eyes look content
But happy she is not
Her eyes show truth
But true she is not
Secrets live in those pools of emerald nightmares
Secrets are immovable in those eyes
Her eyes illustrate her pain in deceiving ways
Her eyes…hold secrets that are left untold

The Things That Make You...You are like a mother in everything you do.
When you bend down to make a stubborn dog eat,
By holding out his food grasped lightly in your palm.
Or the way you leave reminder notes around the house,
So that others know to keep it clean,
By following simple rules.
Even in the way you care for those closest to you,
Looking out for them, making sure they have everything they need.
This is something I've always loved about you.
The way you can never hide your affection for little kids,
And how you always strive to keep things neat and orderly.
I love how your touch is almost always tender;
And only firm when every other option has been exhausted.
I especially love how adorable you look and how-
- Stern,
Is an expression impossible for you to master.
These are things that perhaps,
Many would not admire.
Things you do on a daily basis that pass,
Without comment or notice.
But I assure you, my dear.
To me, these are the things;
That make you-
Most Precious.

Art Feature: Women in Art
So after yet another long hiatus I have decided to start from scratch and try to motivate myself back into DA with some of the things I used to do: Like these nifty art features! I am also hoping it will motivate me to put aside some time for own works!
Without further ado: here are some awesome art pieces featuring women! ( I apologize for any weird formatting in advance, it has been awhile and I've forgotten how I used to do this).

My Impromptu Hiatus
So....Everything has been so hectic this year, and I just honestly don't see myself having much time for deviantart, I'm thinking of making another art feature in a journal but to be honest, I'm not sure that will happen, and I probably won't have much activity beyond that.
Well anyway here are some art related updates:
:bulletblue: I have written some bits for a part two to my eve story but it's sort of all over the place and not anywhere near complete.
:bulletpurple: Despite my load piling up, and where I can't start my other projects I want to try, I am also thinking of adding drawing sketches of scenes from my favorite books series to

I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays. I am happy to say that after a grueling semester due to the recent hurricane, I (somehow) passed my classes with flying colors and am enjoying a short break before my spring semester starts.
I know I haven't been active but here are some things any watchers I have left can look forward to:

Hurricane Irma and my Status
So as some may know, a pretty strong hurricane (Irma) spurred by warming waters from climate change, hit a huge chunk of Florida (where I live) and left many of us without power and some without more.
I weathered the storm well which did not hit me or my family until it was weakened by overland travel. However, my home (which is structurally fine) has no power and I have limited internet access and no light/air conditioning etc. I do at least have running water although there is a boil water advisory (or there was when I last checked). And stores and food places are limited in supply or closed.
The hurricane of course, also took out power a
