Description
Clara is an outgoing, friendly girl. She was born and raised on the Ohana islands, though her family is not from there. Her pale complexion and light hair make her an odd sight on the beach, but she wears tons of super-powered sunscreen to fight off the burn. She loves active, outdoors-y things like surfing, diving, base-jumping, rock climbing, etc.
Her father works from home as a computer programmer, so he home-schooled Clara. Most of his lessons were hands-on and involved lots of field trips. Her mother is a successful business woman who runs a mid-sized ad company. She spends all of her time traveling for work, but never forgets her family at home. She sends frequent gifts and postcards.
As a battler, Clara doesn't have much experience. She was never one for competitive battling and none of her Pokemon are trained for full-out fights. She instead plays to each Pokemon's strengths - whether it be their speed, their ability to hide or their love of hitting things.

Jolt/Joltik - Male
Compound Eyes
Thief ~ Signal Beam ~ Thunderbolt ~ Poison Jab
Jolt was Clara’s first Pokemon. As a child, she thought that his odd-coloured eyes meant he was sick, so she brought him home to take care of him. Jolt is small and sneaky. He likes to sit on his teammates so that he can keep up.
Tactics: Hides and attacks from a distance using its small size to avoid notice.
Mag/Slugma – Male
Flame Body
Flamethrower ~ Recover ~ Earth Power ~ Rock Slide
Clara caught Mag on a trip to Mt. Kila with her father. He is silly and childish. He loves to cuddle, but is too hot to hold for too long. He sits on Drake because he can’t hurt the dragon.
Tactics: Attacks until he takes a hit. Then he gets scared and hides to Recover.
Sophie/Whimsicott – Female
Prankster
Energy Ball ~ Cotton Spore ~ Moonblast ~ Double Team
Sophie is calm and easygoing when on her own, but she gets caught up when her teammates start goofing off. She is quite the prankster when she sets her mind to it.
Tactics: Double Team to evade attacks and Cotton Spore to slow the opponent down. Sophie doesn’t open with attacks unless she has to.
Snow/Froslass – Female
Snow Cloak
Ice Beam ~ Shadow Ball ~ Toxic ~ Thunderbolt
Snow was caught while Clara and her family were on vacation in Hoenn. Clara found her as a Snorunt while skiing with her mother. Clara was so thrilled to be able to spend time with her mom that she didn’t see the little Pokemon until she ran into it. Snow acts calm and mature around strangers, but she’s a ball of energy around the people she knows.
Tactics: All-out attack right off the bat. Snow only uses Toxic if the battle is likely to last more than a few rounds.
Drake/Flygon – Male
Levitate
Sandstorm ~ Dragon Claw ~ Earthquake ~ Stone Edge
Drake was also caught on the Hoenn trip. He is the biggest and toughest Pokemon on the team and as such, he acts as the protector. He loves accompanying Clara on her extreme sporting adventures.
Tactics: Always opens with Sandstorm. Drake attacks quickly from the cloud of sand.
Izzy/Inkay – Female
Contrary
Hypnosis ~ Psycho Cut ~ Night Slash ~ Rock Slide
Izzy was a gift from Clara’s mother. She is small and playful. She rarely “talks” and likes to follow people out of curiousity, which comes across as creepy sometimes.
Tactics: Opens with Hypnosis. Izzy likes to float calmly in the middle of the battle, attacking anything that gets close.
