Clarifications about my artistic path

Hello my dear watchers and friends, this journal is a set of clarifications of how i act in deviantart and which are my aspirations in the near future. The propose of this is clarificate to the new watcher where is she/he entering before click "Watch" in my profile and avoid future "Un-Watch" actions due to possible disapointments or surprises. This is a little long to be written in my profile so i decided to write this here.

I'm going to divide those clarifications into the following:


My pictures themes and the tasks list:

My favourite theme is the "Fantasy" and the "Sci-Fi" and better if it's original. If you were watching me for some time you will know probably that i'm doing a set of fantasy pictures organized into collections and with an story line description in every one. I use to write a task list on my profile to remember what picture is next, but that list is not perfectly solid, that means that task list could be modified for example for including a request, commision or other thing.

Other thing about the list is that it has no limit, even if you see there is a limited number of pictures on it, the reason of not add more task is to avoid filling it too many but there are even more stuff in my mind. In my case i could say it's difficult for me to have the famous "art block". Also i have to say that i'm a person that use to submit few pictures in frecuency, 1 per week maybe, but focused on quality instead of quantity. So, don't expect a lot of continuously stuff here please

OC vs FC:

I remember in my starting in deviantart that some person talked about that. Today i will say my opinion:

Well, if you know me enough you will know that i only draw FanCharacters when i really love the serie, game or film or when someone very near to me (a friend in real life, a familiar...) ask a lot for it or, if the case, if someone ask me for it in a commision or request (if in this moment i'm accepting commisions, request or i'm gifting some prize for a contest). So you will see that in my gallery there are very few fanarts and this is because i really preffer originality instead of re-draw a famous character that i can find in google for example. That not means i hate fanarts, that means just that i preffer to do something new, something that you can not find in any place than here, but a fanart if is well done can be very beautiful

So, don't expect to see more than a 5% of fanarts in my gallery... sorry

My style and artistic path:

It's obvious that just entering in my profile you, watcher or not, can see a lot of manga-styled pictures but with a touch of realism. Manga-Realism is my prefered style and is the one i'm developing myself with my own methods but i think that style is not exactly fixed to be done in an only way because almost every week/month i use to try it in different forms (for example i'm trying to leave the lines instead of deleting them). This means that i'm a person in constant change triying to learn/develop new ways of manga art and focused a little in realism. Also some times i like to draw in the full manga style

Commisions or requests:

Well, i'm a very busy person which the few free time is to be spent in his own drawings, but i don't discard the posibility of some day to re-open at least the commisions period. Also i would like to clarificate that when i accept commisions they are not precisely "cheap", sorry, but you have to understand that i preffer to do quality works and the time it needs.

3DS vs PC:

I use to draw very frecuently with my N3DS machine using a program named "Colors!" and sometimes with my PC using "PaintToolSai". The diference between them is that Colors! doesn't offer pixel quality upper than 800x480 or 480x640 but it offers the posibility that the picture can be watched in 3D stereoscopical format (.mpo), more info here, and PC programs offer more quality and easeness to draw but not 3D. For the moment i preffer to continue drawing some scenes with my 3DS and next export them to here and the best drawings be reserved for my PC

Hola mis queridos seguidores y amigos, este journal es un conjunto de aclaraciones sobre cómo actúo sobre deviantart y cúales son mis aspiraciones en un futuro cercano. El propósito de esto es aclarar al nuevo seguidor donde se está metiendo a la hora de pulsar el botón "Watch" en mi perfil y evitar futuras acciones de "un-Watch" debidas a posibles decepciones o sorpresas. Esto es un poco largo y por eso decidí escribirlo aquí.

Voy a dividir estas aclaraciones en las siguientes:


La temática de mis dibujos y la lista de tareas:

Mi temática favorita es la "fantasía" y la "ciencia-ficción" y mejor si es original. Si me estuviste siguiendo por un tiempo sabrás probablemente que estoy haciendo un conjunto de dibujos de fantasía ordenados en colecciones con una línea de historia descrita en cada uno. Acostumbro a escribir una lista de tareas en mi perfil para recordarme a mí mismo que dibujo es el siguiente, pero esta lista no es del todo sólida, esto quiere decir que podría ser modificada por ejemplo incluyendo peticiones, comisiones u otros.

Otra cosa sobre la lista es que no tiene un límite prefijado, incluso si lo parece el motivo es para no llenarla mucho pero hay muchísimo mas contenido por dibujar después en mi propia mente. En mi caso se podría decir que sería difícil que yo llegue a tener el famoso "art block". Además tengo que decir que suelo subir dibujos con poca frecuencia, 1 por semana si acaso, pero enfocado en la calidad en vez de la cantidad. Así que, no esperen ver demasiadas pinturas frecuentemente por aquí por favor

OC vs FC:

Recuerdo en mis comienzos en deviantart que cierta persona ya hablo de esto antes. Hoy daré mi opinión:

Bueno, si me conoces lo suficiente sabrás que yo solo dibujo FanCharacters cuando realmente amo la serie, juego o película en cuestión o cuando alguien muy cercano a mi (un amigo de la vida real, un familiar...) me lo pide muchísimo o, si se da el caso, si alguien me lo pide como parte de una comisión o petición (si en ese momento las estoy aceptando o si si estoy dando un regalo por un concurso). Así que verás que en mi galería hay demasiados pocos fanarts y ello es debido a que prefiero la originalidad en vez de re-dibujar un personaje famoso que puedo encontrar casi en cualquier parte de google por ejemplo. Esto no quiere decir que odie los fanarts, solo quiere decir que prefiero hacer algo nuevo, algo que tú no puedes encontrar en ningún lugar más que aquí, pero un fanart bien hecho puede llegar a ser algo precioso 

Por tanto, no esperes ver más de un 5% de fanarts en mi galería, lo siento

Mi estilo y mi trayectoria artística:

Es obvio que nada más entrar a mi perfil tú, seguidor o no, puedes ver gran cantidad de pinturas manga pero con un toque realista. El realismo manga es mi estilo preferido y es el que estoy desarrollando por mi mismo con mis propios métodos pero creo que este estilo no está prefijado a ser hecho de una forma exacta ya que casi todas las semanas/meses suelo probarlo de diferentes formas (por ejemplo ahora estoy intentando dejar algunas líneas sin borrar a ver cómo queda). Esto significa que soy una persona en constante cambio tratando de aprender/desarrollar nuevas maneras de arte manga y enfocado un poco al realismo. No obstante a veces me gusta también dibujar totalmente manga

Comisiones y peticiones:

Bien, como soy una persona bastante ocupada a veces el poco tiempo libre que tengo suele ser para mis propios dibujos, pero no descarto la posibilidad de re-abrir algún día al menos el periodo de comisiones. Además me gustaría dejar claro que cuando acepto hacer comisiones estas no son precisamente baratas, sorry, pero deben entender que prefiero hacer trabajos de un mínimo nivel de calidad y el tiempo que ello conlleva.

3DS vs PC:

Suelo dibujar con frecuencia en mi máquina N3DS usando un programa llamado "Colors!" y a veces con mi PC usando "PaintToolSai". La diferencia entre ambos es que Colors! no ofrece una calidad de pixelado mayor de 800x480 o 480x640 pero ofrece la posibilidad de que la pintura pueda ser vista en formato 3D estereoscópico (.mpo), mas información aquí, y los programas de PC ofrecen mayor calidad y facilidades para el dibujo pero no 3D. Por el momento prefiero continuar dibujando algunas escenas con mi 3DS y después exportarlas aquí y reservar las mejores para hacerlas en PC


Vale, espero haber explicado lo suficientemente bien cómo es mi perfil y mi arte y espero que tu, nuevo seguidor, conozcas un poco mejor a que tipo quieres seguir antes de hacer click en el botón. Esto es todo, si alguien de ustedes tiene alguna duda solo pregunten XD
