Hitoshi Tends to only show the part of him he wants people to see. Keeping up a playful persona even if his feelings have been hurt. Though that's not to say this persona isn't really him, as he truly does look on the bright side of life and keeps up a saying "the grass is greener where you want it to be". He is easily bored and will often do things like balancing an eraser on his nose to entertain himself. He will sometimes do things to try and impress others and seem "cool" though he usually just makes a fool of himself. He is a kind boy who sometimes gets in trouble for it, He will say things like "a lovely lady like you-" just trying to be kind, not realizing he is flirting. Though he may come off as very kind he is somewhat selfish at heart, doing things for others to ultimately benefit himself or just to feel needed and liked. He has many childlike behaviors he hasn't grown out of though its not to say he doesn't have a serious side buried deep in his heart. Another side of him is due to his Insomnia, he can sometimes be found fast asleep in random spots from lack of sleep.

He has become the way he due to the loss of his sister. At that time he witnessed his parents cry for the first time, in order for them not to worry he put on a smile. Somehow this become his coping method, and he kept the smile on his face even as the tears were falling.

    Biography:

Growing up in the countryside of Japan with his parents and twin sister, Hitoshi had an enjoyable childhood. He was always very close with his twin sister Hiroma, they would often play on the nearby train tracks pretending to be heros and things of the like, testing each others bravery. However one particularly hot August day didn't turn out as normal. The two of them were fooling around on the train tracks that ran along a tall bridge over the flowing river. It was a relatively normal summers day, until the tracks began to shake and the whistle of a train could be hear from afar. They were used to this of course, and began to scurry off the bridge when Hirota's foot slipped through one of the old wooden boards. Hitoshi did what he could to help her but he could hear the train coming closer. Panicking Hitoshi wished deeply to be like the hero's they had pretended to be for so long, he wished for their strength and courage to always do the right thing and make it out in time, to always be able to protect those close to him, his heart screamed for this wish at that moment. as his mind raced with those thoughts he smashed the wood with all his might, getting her free. But as the wood gave way the two fell though and into the river. He awoke alone on the shore with Hirota's hello kitty necklace still in hand and his eyes burning red.
before his death Hitoshi sported stark black hair with deep brown eyes, the same as his sister. However after awaking on the shore his body had changed into one with red hair and bright blue eyes that covered his inner red ones.

To bury away all memory of his sister Hitoshi moved to the city in order to live with his aunt, there he settled in quickly, Fascinated by the bustling city before him. He eventually forced himself to smile past the pain of his loss and to forget the memories he carried. He live a fairly normal life from then on with his kind aunt. That is until he realized he could do some strange things.. scared, he hid his powers from his family and friends and attempted to act is if they didn't exist. However it was futile. He couldn't control his powers and often got in strange situations for that. Until one warm day he was found by the Mekakushi Dan while doing some errands in the city. He had saved a cat from being hit by a car that day, and his red eyes had drawn the attention of those who knew what he could do. As they approached him he was overwhelmed with curiosity. He wondered if he learned to control his powers..if he could save more then just a single cat. He quickly accepted their offer and stayed with them since.
