I originally came across this piece which used fantastic colors, great emotion, and wonderful lighting. The piece drove me to find out more about the deviant and take a look at more of his gallery. It was featured with a Daily Deviation from Kaz-D just a couple days ago. The artist also thought that it was one of his best pieces:

Well, this is one of my personal favorites i have ever shot for several reasons: First of all - i have never worked with make-up before and Lara dit a fantastic job to make it exacly the way i wanted it! It's dark, dirty, gritty and also kind of sexy. The second thing is Boas! When i decided to do facial make-up i needed a model with a great expression and he is just perfect for it! i can't imagine another guy for that. But still, I made it like every other photo! So the light is natural. No flash or other lightsource was used to make it look real even with make-up on!  I'm kind of proud that this all worked so well. It's new but still my style.

Once I found that first piece, it didn't take much to draw me into more of his photography. He has a very specific style that I personally love. Hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I did.
