Player Select: Superman VS Captain America

The first match in my Player Select project. I plan on making many more in this series including characters from comics, games, TV shows, movies,etc.

I guess these characters need no introduction, but I'm going to give one anyway as I plan on doing so with all the characters.


DC's Superman first appeared in Action Comics #1 in 1938. He is probably the most recognized comic character in the world, in fact he has become an archetype for superheroes. His powers include superhuman strength, speed and hearing, invulnerability, flight, 'super' breath, and 'super' vision.
I drew him in his well-known outfit instead of his modern New 52 armor since this is his most recognizable costume.


Marvel's Captain America first appeared in Captain America Comics in 1941. He was a man named Steve Rogers who became Captain America after he was chosen to be the test subject for a 'super soldier' project in World War II. He is physically just shy of superhuman, and he is a very skilled soldier. He uses his shield offensively by throwing it and having it ricochet back to him.
I drew him in his 'modern' outfit which is slightly different from his 'classic' one, but not as much as his Marvel NOW costume.
