Here's Hans Rölleder, the Kommandant der Stadt Warschau (Commandant of the Warsaw city)

Hans was born in Munich in 1910 in a privieleged bourgeois family, as he grew up in the Spartakist revolution context, he was very feared about the communist peril. But this is especially during the 30's crisis that he was even more paranoiac about that danger, because the working class was longing for a more equal society, then he decided to support Hitler's campain because the SPD was not profitable enough for rich men like him, and not the KPD as he love his money, is liking to spend it and would hate to share it with the poors.
Then he became a Nazi because as one of them he became far more wealthier than everyone in the party (thanks to the Jews's gold as they were the wealthiest minority in Germany) and he was appointed Kommandant of the city of Warsaw after the fall of Poland in 1939. There he had to lay down the Third Reich laws and to watch the Polish citizens's behaviour, but in 1942, when he was comming back to his office after a visit to the Warsaw ghetto, a polish resistant came out from the crowd with a hunt knife and tried to stab his heart, but lukily, one of his bodyguard pulled him as far as he can from the resistant's weapon but not enough to avoid the knife to reach Hans's right eye.
After his accident, Hans refused to turn to plastic surgery and glass eye to hide his injury as he wanted that every morning when he'd face himself in the front of a mirror he'd remember what he risks everyday by making this job.
In 1944, Adolf Hitler requested him to be a part of the Axis conspiracy against the shadow commandos on the western front.
