So in this scene, Impala just interrupted Razor and Whitewall's argument, and Razor walks off (rather insanely). Impala is devastated and tries to get him to talk to her, but he will have none of it. Meanwhile, Whitewall watches Impala's emotional reaction to Razor's treatment and is heartbroken and terrified that she truly does love the loner more than him. However, even though it hurts, he is prepared to let her go if she thinks that Razor will make her truly happy. ((Whitewall is such a sweetheart <3 <3))

Initially I felt this song fit Impala and Razor, until I actually thought about it... since she is not in love with him nor was she planning on living with him in the mountains, so it actually doesn't fit. But the song title was inspiration because Impala is desperately trying to get her friend to talk to her so they can make everything right, but Razor has already given up and gives her no chance to redeem herself or remain his friend.

However, the song truly does fit Whitewall in this situation. Seeing how much Impala cares about Razor, Whitewall is heartbroken that Impala will go off with the loner, and he desperately wants her to tell him that she is not in love with the loner, and that it is he that she truly cares about. But unless she assures him that he is the one she wants, he is prepared to lose his best friend and love for the sake of her happiness.
