Discovered the clipping mask tool. Life changed. Oh Noes! 

Still not totally happy with the coloring style - it's not what I want to settle on - but it was nice practice at least. Will probably do another version. UPDATED 7/29 Life changed again by Manga Studio 5. Goodbye Photoshop.
