Sock Hop was listening to her music, and decided to dance. She saw Munch and just had to dance around him (or her..cant remember). She was listening to 'You Can't Hurry Love' by The Supremes.

I had drawn the music notes myself with white and black..however it wasnt showing very well..so I found some brushes..and now it looks better
This would be dead-kittens3's characters Sock Hop and Munch. I am running out of time for this contest. So yes, the horse lines are traced. Sorry sweety. I'm just out of time before it ends. I did the coloring, the mane/tail, headband, bow and Munch without reference. Well..i did ref off of deadkittens pics. I do hope you like this sweety.

I saw this before you had a background too it, so i waited until you did before i commented. I am so happy right now T.T i love Sock Hop drawn as an actually horsey
She is so cute! You coloured her coat perfectly too! She is meant to be a light tan but a lot of the pictures i draw of her come out to be more yellow and then other people who draw her make her a more yellowish shade. In the future when i ask for people to colour her i will give them this as a reference for her base coat I love how you did her curly mane and her short wavy tail, oh and that little headband is adorable! If i had a palomino horse i would dye her mane and tail and "cosplay" her as sock hop XDD (imagine how cute a polka dot halter would be ) I think the background really adds to the picture too, it is simple but it works well too keep it interesting. I am glad you didn't just go with a solid colour as the background. And OMG MUNCH!!!!! He is so freaking cute look at him in that top hat! i am dying right now xD he is so cute xD oh and munch belongs to , i am sure he would love to see this! 
I dont mind that you traced the horse, i understand there was a bit of a time rush and the deadline pretty much rushed up on all of us X_X I like the one you chose though because she really looks like she is dancing.
