The brains of the bunch, who unlike Kyra is a deep thinker in the ways of the world. With inventions and gadgets all around his house, he seeks answers to the big mystery behind the mist, and how best to change the world for the better. He can take some punishment, but usually sends Kyra to face off against strong foes awhile he coaches on strategy and where to attack for maximum damage.Because of her Sunny Day, he can launch a full-out bombardment of solarbeams, using her stench to drive off close hitters. Beware though, as he is known to eat just about anything on the ground, including the garbage cans, and is vicious when his mealtime is disturbed.

Kyra is what you'd call a happy-go-lucky fist of judgement. Without Shad to corral her, she'd go off endlessly picking fights and getting in all sorts of trouble since the battles often are messy and gruesome. Mostly for the opponent. Of course, she's also tut bhe one who pays for all his meals, since she acts as a storage container for various items, but she appreciates the fact that he wants to be her friend and looks out for her. Also, she's immune to feeling pain since her body is a trashbag, and any cuts can easily be stitched up in a hurry. She also is waterproof-sealed, meaning she can float around even in untreated sewage, but really hates fire for obvious reasons.
