For PKMNation
Fight!
This is for the Summer Tournament, in which anyone can enter and battle, and the winner gets a rare Jirachi! I, personally, am hoping for one of the smaller prizes.
Anywho, my opponent this round is Doomfeather! This week on VERSUS! Rufus the Tyrunt versus Scarus the Tyrunt/Carvanha! Two Big Jaw Pokémon duking it out! And, checking both movesets, I figured the sensible move would be for them to use Bite and take advantage of their jaw strength. Hopefully this’ll be good for Rufus—even if he loses, it works out some of that pent-up energy he has.
These are judged on art style as opposed to base attack and levels, so I decided to try something different and use some newspaper paper my Mom bought for me a while back. It has an aged look, being a beige-ish color, and is perfect for sepia projects or brown-toned dinosaur-Pokémon. It made me have to go darker with my colors, though, as my regular shading technique doesn’t show up as well on it as it does on white computer paper. In addition, it’s a tad too big for my scanner, so I had to patch it together in Photoshop when I was done. Ah well—I still like how it turned out.
And I’m not sure if I can count levels for this, but if I can, then it’s nine levels each (3 Partial; 3 x 2 Shading).
EDIT: Levels do count, so it’s nine levels for the both of them! (3 Partial; 3 x 2 Shading)
