Description
Portrait of an adult male Tyrannosaurus rex in breeding plumage. The mane of feathers serves to create an illusion of more massive jaw muscles and neck, making him appear more threatening. The inflatable throat pouch is there to woo the ladies.
I had to make this drawing because I was so ashamed of how messed up the cranial anatomy of my feathered tyrannosaur sketch was. Ideally I'd like to make a full body feathered T. rex one day, but until then you'll have to settle for just a head.
In a way this serves as a kind of redraw of The Modern Tyrannosaur from 2001, only this time updated with lips and feathers!

You should have let both lips entirely cover up the central incisors and the back teeth while leaving the tips of the big canine and the two closet molars and premolars, next to the canines stick out. But other than that. Cool concept Trex Drawing.
