General Rules: (These apply everywhere in the group)
  • This is a roleplay AND art group. We will be doing regular things related to both. It is not mandatory to participate on everything, but it is encouraged and members will be judged by the effort put into their artwork, not by skill alone.

  • Keep everything light and fun! No ‘real world’ politics, religion, drama, flaming, other negative things. If there’s a problem, talk to the mods.

  • We ask that those who join this group be active, but we’re not going to strictly monitor that.

  • Public content must be PG-13 or less. Gallery submissions can be mature as long as they’re properly filtered. Don’t post links to anything mature in the chatroom at all, even your own work.

  • Be respectful and friendly. Make sure everyone is able to have fun, listen if someone asks you to stop doing something, and also speak up politely if something makes you uncomfortable.

  • No advertising for anything but TE. We’re selfish, prideful little snoots and only want you flaunting us in our lands. 8’D You can always post wips of your work in the chats, though.

  • Absolutely no stealing, tracing, or bases. You can use references, but it must be your own work. Collaborations are fine.

  • No discrimination.

  • No god-modding, Mary Sues, metagaming (using OOC information as canon knowledge), or excessive crack.

  • If there’s a problem, contact the mods; we’re here to help and make sure everyone has the most fun they can.

  • If you submit something with someone else’s character featured and they ask you to remove or change it, then you must comply. It’s their Intellectual Property (IP) and they have the right to dictate how it’s presented.

  • Please use literate English. We understand not everyone has English as their first language, but that’s one more reason for writing nicely to be better understood. Do your best to be grammatically correct and don’t use chat speak.


Chatroom/RP Rules:
  • Have fun! Invite people to RP with you and don’t take it personal or stop trying if you get declined a couple times. Sometimes people are just too busy.

  • No flooding, flaming, or spamming. Wait for people to keep up with the RP and don’t repeatedly post the same thing over and over.

  • Any RP style is welcome.

  • If you have an idea for an RP you want to plot and host, you are more than welcome to go through with it. It might be a good idea to get it checked by the mods first to make sure it fits with official TE content, but you don’t absolutely have to. You can even ask the mods or founders for help with hosting if you would like some.

  • Be careful with your character’s actions. The worlds still have laws, and if your character breaks them badly enough, we’re not going to take special care to bend the rules and allow the character to keep roaming free. If it’s bad enough, they could get removed from the group.


Character Rules:
  • Please see the Character Creation and FAQ journal.


Mission Rules:
  • In order to count as a mission, the submission must clearly feature one of your characters that have been accepted into the group, and be finished past a sketch. Linearts must be fullbody figures, but it’s alright to have half body figures if they are fully shaded.

  • Follow the parameters of each mission. Don’t draw your character building a dam if they’re supposed to be stopping a forest fire or fighting a giant three-legged dragon.


General Submission Rules:
  • Submit everything to the right folder please.

  • Any type of submission is accepted, other than copy pasted RP logs. We have a Google Docs folder for those.

  • That being said, submissions with mature content will only be accepted if they are properly tagged and filtered as such.
