CE: Magi Trio explores Mount Mayon and Cagsawa!

Sina Aladdin, Alibaba, at Morgiana ay galing sa anime na "Magi" - isa sa mga paborito kong anime! Sila ay nasa Mount Mayon, Albay, Philippines kung saan makikita rin ang Cagsawa Ruins. Kasama nila sa magic carpet ang sari-saring specialty products ng Albay: ang Pili Nuts na hindi lamang pagkain, kundi accessories din; ang napakatanyag na Bicol Express; mga bags, tela, pamaypay at tsinelas na yari sa abaca. May iba ring produktong Pinoy gaya ng mga minatamis at kendi, dried mangoes, at piaya. 'Di ko matiis na 'di idagdag ang Jolllibee HAHA  

Napagpasyahan kong 'bisitahin' nila ang Mount Mayon sapagkat matagal ko na rin itong inaasam puntahan. Naagnas na raw kasi ang "perfect cone" nito dahil sa "erosion" kung kaya't hindi na ito gaanong kaperpekto. Sana maabutan ko pa

" Aladdin, Alibaba, and Morgiana went to Albay to see the "Perfect Cone" of Mount Mayon and the Cagsawa Ruins. Unfortunately, the clouds kept the volcano hidden from afar, so they decided to use their 'magic carpet' to get a closer look!"

For the 2014 Summer Contest of !

Aladdin, Alibaba, Morgiana are from the anime "Magi" - one of my favorite anime! They are at Mount Mayon, Albay, Philippines where you could also find the Cagsawa Ruins. On their magic carpet are various specialty products of Albay: the Pili Nuts which don't only serve as food, but as accessories as well; the famous Bicol Express; bags, cloth, fans and slippers made of abaca. There are also other Filipino products like various sweets and candies, dried mangoes and piaya. I couldn't resist adding Jollibee in the picture HAHA   *Jollibee is a fast-food chain here in Phily. much like McDonald's*

I decided to choose Mount Mayon because I myself long to go there. Apparently, its "Perfect Cone" isn't as perfect as it was due to erosion. I hope I can still get to see it

I reaaaaally had fun doing this! It reminded me of my elementary years when the teacher would ask us to draw a Philippines Tourist Spot. Mount Mayon was a fairly common choice (because it was easy to draw HA! ). Sometimes, I caught myself smiling while doing this (ugh yes i'm a creep)

oh and this is my first contest yaaaaaaaaayyy  I'm actually new to the group, and the initial deadline was July 9, which was really soon, so I decided not to join NDEN they moved it to July 20 and I was like LET'S DO THIS THANG!

Still starting out with watercolour paper and this is my first full-page drawing     criticisms are appreciated~~
oh and I only put "Cagsawa" in the title because "Ruins" wouldn't fit anymore sobs
