Mass Manipulation: This ability allows the user to alter their weight, making it possible for them to become light as a feather or heavy like a ship.
When his weight is decreased, not only does Noah's speed and agility increase, but the lower mass makes it possible for strong gusts of wind to pick him up off the ground. Although useful in a travel sense, this aspect of his powers actually weakens him in combat, because of how easy it is to push him around. In contrast, when his weight is increased, Noah's movements become sluggish, but the power behind his attacks greatly increase. In this state it requires much more effort for Noah to move himself, but it requires even more for him to be stopped. (Think inertia.)

Currently, Noah has very little control over this ability, and it is regulated more by his emotions than his thoughts. His four sentimental triggers are joy, pride, anger, and fear, with the former two causing a decrease in mass, and the latter two an increase. Despite the fact that Noah isn't a very emotional person, the first form of his power manifests itself much more often than the second, because it is extremely rare for him to be angry.

Gliding: Combining his light mass with his metal fan-like weapons, Noah is capable of doing something akin to flying. He can glide by catching a gust of wind, or stepping off a building or some other tall place. The fans give him a decent amount of control over his movements, and he can more or less direct himself to where he'd like to go. Because he can't actually fly, however, Noah's time in the air is limited to how long he can stay in the air or ride the wind.

Also, because he's afraid of heights, the other end of Noah's power likes to kick in while he's in the air, which limits his gliding time even further, as (with every passing second) his weight steadily starts to increase again. Until he can conquer his fear -or at least find a way to deal with it- he won't be gliding very far.

Passive:
Given that he doesn't have a particular interest in anything, Noah can be rather uncaring/unpassionate towards certain topics or events. For this reason, it takes a lot to set him off.
Blunt:
Despite his need for companionship, Noah is actually very bad at social interaction. A weak conversationalist, he will often say whatever he deems appropriate, which may or may not be considered appropriate by other people.
Insightful:
He may not be very good at communicating with people, but he is great at reading them. With an ear trained to catch certain words, actions, or tones, he can pick up on moods and hints. Responding to them correctly, however, is something completely different.
Absent-Minded:
Because he frequents his mind more than the real world, Noah is prone to forgetting things that people have told him, or actions that he is supposed to complete. New trains of thought tend to overwhelm already existing ones, making him easy to distract.
Humble:
Although he still isn't sure what to make of his powers, Noah does not think very highly of them, and doesn't see them as anything that puts him above your average person. In a more social sense, Noah is likely to submit himself to the wishes of other people, and will go out of his way to help them and make them feel special.
Strange:
This is likely the word that best applies to him. Noah is his own kind of person. He doesn't follow social norms, and often decides to go ahead and do whatever strange thought that may enter his mind. Even the way he speaks, albeit slightly formal, can be confusing and just plain weird. He often rubs people the wrong way because of this, but makes no effort to chance his oddball ways.

Born and raised the second child to a pair of busy -albeit very loving- doctors, Noah had spent many of his childhood years spoiled, and in solitude. As a result he was a rather quiet child, and although friendly, preferred to spend time by himself rather than with other people. For his elementary school years, and junior high as well, there was nothing that made him stick out more so than any other regular student except, perhaps, his habit of day-dreaming and getting lost in thought. On occasion he would get picked on or made fun of for his inability to focus, but it was never enough to really hurt him. For a very long time, Noah was content to live his life under the radar.

It wasn't until high school that this lonely lifestyle caught up to him, and Noah found himself craving the company of other people. It didn't matter much if they spoke to him. Simply having other people around was enough to make Noah feel wanted. Included. With his parents working more hours (and therefore coming home for even shorter periods of time), he started to place a higher importance in having friends.

It was in his grade 12 year that Noah's powers finally started to manifest. Waking up after what seemed like a normal night's sleep, he noticed that some strands of his hair had started to turn a white-ish hue. Confused, he ignored it -thinking that it most likely had to do with stress- and figured that the problem would solve itself eventually. However, with every passing day his hair only continued to lose its colour, until it was finally drained to the white he now wears today. Despite the oddity of the situation, he had accepted it quickly enough. But little did he know that this was only the beginning of his problems.

His powers had started to show up very subtly. Walking home with friends when a breeze flutters on by; Noah is pushed over. Playfully hitting someone after a joke; his punch is so weak that people are actually impressed. When they happened, it never even crossed his mind that something could be wrong with him. It took one final event for him to piece everything together.
Having graduated and now attending his first year of university, Noah had fallen for someone. He had tried flirting with her -best as he knew how- and after having thought that he was not getting anywhere, the girl had texted him, inviting him out for coffee. With his spirits lifted, and being more excited than he probably had in a long time, Noah is in the process of texting her back, when a strong gust of wind rolls on by: and picks him up right along with it. Unable to do anything about, well, anything, Noah rides the wind until he is unceremoniously dumped into an open field, landing in such a way that he breaks a leg. So much for that date.

But by now Noah is aware that something is going on. He doesn't understand it, nor does he really have much of a drive to figure it out, but he does come to understand that he has some kind of power that is triggered by his emotions. He doesn't however, feel any need to use it. Until the crime rate in the city increases, that is. With a strong will to help all of the people who can't help themselves, he decides to become a hero.

Other Information:
✦ Has a mole under his left eye.
✦ Originally, he was both with brown hair. The change in colour is the only physical sign of his powers manifesting themselves.
✦ Has a terrible fear of heights.
✦ His grad ring is probably one of his most important possessions. His group of friends at the time -that he still tries to keep in touch with -all got matching rings, so it's a source of fond memories. For this reason, it can make for a good trigger to the one side of his abilities.
✦ The metal fans shown on the app are actually clipped onto his back. To use them to fight he simply has to unclip one of them and tada- weapon. For gliding, the bottom of the fans clip onto a small attachment one his wrists, and turn into make-shift wings.
✦ Really loves flowers. Tulips are his favourite.
✦ Really, really loves people. That's why is doesn't really matter, when in a group, if he's noticed. Being surrounded by other people is enough; this is the only exception to his passive nature.
✦ Having been starved as a kid of small, physical gestures of affection (like being pet, hugged, etc.), Noah often craves it now as an adult. With strangers he'll accept the touch (unconsciously), but will be really awkward about it, and try to remove himself from the situation as soon as possible. When it comes to people he's comfortable with however, he'll often nuzzle back into the touch and will make no effort to leave.
