Wren is not a liar. She is not afraid to be blunt and straight forward if she thinks that is best. She tries her best not to be rude, of course, but would rather be a bit rude than fake. She acts the same toward everyone and never puts up a façade that changes depending on who she is with. She takes everything at face value and does not assume without knowing.

Wren is quite a sensible wolf. She is realistic and cynical. While she is not particularly a pessimist, she is also not an optimist. She is very mature and able to handle herself and difficult situations.

{ loyal //

If Wren likes you then you have a friend for life. She is fiercely loyal to those she loves and will defend them with her life if she must. She also has a lot of trust in those she cares about and assumed they will show her the same loyalty. This loyalty makes her act coldly to those who she feels does not treat her friends right. It takes a lot for you to be removed from her list of trusted friends once you are on there, for she is quite forgiving of those she cares about and gives them the benefit of the doubt whenever possible.

Wren is not a push over. If she wants something or feels something is wrong, she will bring it up. She is not a she-wolf to turn belly up when faced with a challenge. She will face it, and usually even enjoys a good challenge. She also is not a wolf to be told what to do and does not like being controlled. But she is not a loud and bossy kind of stubborn, but more of a calm and dignified rock that will not move no matter the forced. However, she has a good sense of her limitations by now and will back down if she knows she has lost.

Wren is not the easiest wolf to get to know. Ever since the misbehavior of her father and the death of her family, she has hardened up quite a bit. She is kind to others unless they give her reason not to be, but she is also is not usually the one to start a conversation or make herself known. Due to her quiet nature, she is also quite calm… unless fire is involved, anyway.

Despite her often blunt and stubborn impression, she is very compassionate and hates to see others suffer. In her old pack she was training to be a healer, but did not get very far in her training before she had to flee from the fire. She loves the feeling of helping others and is resolute in her desire to help them recover.

- HISTORY -

{ Pre-Group //

Wren was born to the alphas of a small wolf pack with her brother Marik. Wren had a very fortunate childhood. Her parents were loving and supportive of her and the whole pack joined in the raising of her and her brother. This care free and prosperous childhood instilled a deep sense of community and kindness within the young female. She learned of the importance of family and love and how it should be the stable in every wolf’s life.

As she reached her juvenile age, Wren began to notice a change in her father. He grew more distant with his mother and spent less and less time with her and the pack. Wren found herself worrying often about him but luckily she had her older brother Marik who helped distract her from the growing issues within the pack by playing with her and being there for her. Her mother was getting concerned as well, trying her best to find out what was wrong and be a supportive mate to her beloved, but he just grew more distant with every attempt she made. Wren tried to confront with him several times about his behavior, but she never got far with his roundabout answers and vague excuses.

Soon Wren’s mother was expecting another litter. This brought great joy to the pack, especially Wren who was so excited to help raise her little brothers and sisters. Wren thought this was the perfect way to get her father back on track from whatever he was so distant about. What could be better than another litter of sons and daughters? Soon three lovely pups were born, but her father was as absent as ever. Wren could feel the sadness of her mother at her inability to figure out what was wrong with her mate. She felt like she was losing him, and Wren felt the same about her father.

One hot and dry summer day a wildfire blazed through the territory. With the high winds it was spreading fast and Wren’s mother told her and Marik to follow the rest of the pack to safety while she and Wren’s father took the puppies. Wren reluctantly followed her brother as they ran off. However, Marik saw their father flee from the corner of his eye and called to Wren that they needed to go back. Wren was completely in shock and remembers the rest of the moment only vaguely. She and her brother turn back to help her mother but were met with three dead puppies with their fur still burning and their mother trapped beneath of burning branch. The fire was advancing quickly and smoke billowed through the air all around them. Wren was completely mortified, frozen to the spot as their mother begged for them to run and save themselves. That was when Wren snapped. She stayed at her mother’s side, howling for her father, refusing to believe that he would just leave his mate behind. He was still their father, their noble father who they loved and respected and who raised them under the very virtues of loyalty and love. What had happened to their perfect family? Their perfect life? Everything that Wren knew and loved was burning around her and there was nothing she could do to stop it! Marik had to drag her, yowling and crying, from her mother’s body.

With one last anguished look at her mother, Wren turned and followed her brother. The two siblings ran from the fire, trying desperately to get away when their father reappeared. Wren was frantic as he saw him, her voice thick with bitter despair as she demanded to know why he did such a thing to their mother. Their father didn’t answer at first, trying to lead his children away from the fire. The siblings found out that their father had another mate with more pups that he was getting to safety first. Wren refused to believe it even as the flames blazed around them, but before she could even respond, the flames were upon them. Wren was separated from her brother and father. She frantically tried to find them again but soon gave up and just headed for safety.

She ran for a long, long time. Long after the flames were far behind her. She could not believe what had happened to her and she could not stop running, as if running would make all her troubles go far behind her and when she reached her destination it would be her old territory, completely intact, with her loving parents and brother waiting for her. She finally slowed down after a full day of running, struggling to compose herself.

She returned to the site of the old territory only once a few days later, but after finding several bodies, so burned that they were unidentifiable, she could take no more and left. And now Wren wanders the territories, looking for her beloved brother or any other members of her pack, or anywhere she can call home.

Jade/familiar/trust/depends on/ My Medic in training. She seems very willing to learn, and I have a lot of faith in her. But of course... I have no choice but to put my faith in her, for who knows how much longer I will be here.
Enzo/uncertainty/ Enzo is... I'm not sure. I am upset that he spoke so freely in front of Shenandoah... I never wanted to speak of my stillbirths again, I don't know why Renier would share something to personal with Enzo. Either way, I know he is loyal to his brother, I can only hope he will be loyal to Shenan as well.
Kimber /uncertain/familiar/semi-trust/like/ Kimber has been very kind and supportive to me. She knows what I have done yet she still wants to help me. Her compassion means so much to me.

Diomedes:/friend/respect/unsure/ He saved me from freezing to death on one chilling winter night. I am very grateful for his selflessness and I hope he is doing well.
Nahimana: /friendly-neutral/unsure/ she is a very kind wolf. I'm not sure about what she sas about Gods, though... it seems very strange. But I suppose that white elk was strange too. Hm... I'm not sure. But either way, she was amiable and I hope she fairs well with her future pack.
Charaka/friend/pity/respect// Poor girl was in a tough spot when I found her. I’m glad I was there to properly clean and dress her wound. I wonder how she got it… but all that matters is that it’s all patched up and hopefully now she will be okay! I hope she finds a pack or something, though… she seemed really sad and lonely…
Renier/hate/fear/discomfort/ This wolf attacked me... and just for the fun of it! He is a brutish and terrifying individual and I hope I never cross paths with him again.
//dislike/fear/discomfort/interest/ I have seen him several times since our first encounter... he is very... strange... and twisted... I find him terrifying, but... gentle and wise at the same time... I'm not sure what I think of him anymore.
//uncertainty/interest/attraction/ The more I think of him the more I wonder... who is he? Where did he come from? He acts as if he is so hard and evil, but... I don't see that. He has never harmed me, and he has even helped me, risking his safety for me... I am... confused.
//confusion/feels responsible for/strong attraction/ He saved my life from a boar... but I saved him first... I wasn't even thinking, I just sprang. I easily could have been killed but I didn't even care. I have grown to respect Ren so much, I just didn't want him to get hurt. And after I treated his wounds and he was acting so strange... he was telling me that he is a terrible wolf, and he will only hurt me. But I don't believe him. He is better than he think he is, and I will do anything I can to help him escape his own mind and become happy. And then he... told me he loves me... I cannot say it back, no, but... I want to see him... he is witty and charming and sweet, and... well, handsome of course. I am in so much trouble... how can I be going against my pack like this? It is only for a little while, though. There is one way; convince him to join Vale. We can be happy, Vale will get a great new member... everyone wins. I just have to convince him before Faust finds out about this... I would lose everything...
//love/trust/respect/ We are mates now, in secret... and I believe I am carrying his pups as well. I love him so much... I don't know what the future holds, but whatever it is Ren will be at my side. I know it. I trust him and depend on him so much. We will figure it out. We have to.
//love/trust/respect/misses/guilt/ Renier... I can't believe how terribly I have betrayed you, but I had no choice. I don't know where you went, but I hope you do not return, or you will be killed. As soon as I have a replacement I will leave Vale and find you. Until then... I love you, and I always will.

Lydia/friend/unsure/respect She is very empathetic and treated me kindly even though I was intruding on her land. I will have to be more careful in the future, but as far as getting caught behind the borders, I could not have gotten luckier this time.
Fable/close friend/sympathy/respect/love/attraction/ The kindness of this individual is overwhelming. He risked his life to just to save mine and for that I am very grateful. He is also a gentle soul and I really hope he can figure out what happened in his past so he can be at peace.
Navindru/friend/respect/ I respect this wolf and am grateful to him for letting me take shelter in his territory during a snowstorm. I get the sense he had a troubled past, but I am very happy he is content with his life in Chandor now.

{ Havir Pack //

Shania/close friend/ I was shocked how quickly Shania and I became friends. She is very kind and funny but I had so much fun. She showed me the ocean, and the ocean even turned blue when we arrived! It was truly magical... a day I will never forget. I hope to not see more of Shania.

Ivy (snake)/friend/respect/ I am very happy I ran into Ivy so I could assist her! She was surprisingly pleasant and I wish her luck in her new home! I must say, I had never spent time with a snake before and I enjoyed the experience.
