Melissa Cervae - After

Original Sketch Date: July 31,  2014

It would seem that the strange warm feeling near the end of her spine was something Melissa shouldn't have ignored.  But for how much Sahga Surprise she drank, there really wasn't much she could do.  In moments she winced up as her spine began to elongate unnaturally, flesh following equally along.  Her legs began to feel very weak; she lowered herself to the floor before she was forced to for whatever reason.  No sooner than she did her legs lost most feeling as they began to lose definition, flesh and bone absorbing itself as her two appendages disappeared into her hips. 

As her body continued to lengthen she noticed a fine layer of maroon coloured scales developing over most of her new extension.  On the underside larger, thicker ventral scales manifested, lighter in colour than the other scales.  Throughout the ordeal was a strange numbing feeling as nerves shifted and developed.  She didn't want to think about what was happening.  She couldn't, not the way her mind was petrified.

In what felt like a long minute the transformation had finished.  Melissa looked down at where her gorgeous legs and feet used to be.  Their vestigial remains now exist within her now serpentine lower body.  Her mind was filled with shock, not even thinking about what the other patrons will make of her. 

"I sure hope this isn't permanent..."

When I was working on this piece in photoshop I spent a decent amount of time adjusting her left hand and trying to make it look right.  It still looks off, but compared to the original sketch it does look better.

Inspiration for her pose and reference for her form and the shading on the tail came from 's "Skye naga" ( fav.me/d5uyh6d ).
