Interesting idea. I like the idea of something akin to Rome or Latin being in Equestria's history. Only question I have with this is that I don't think they would evolve and diverge from regular pegasi quite that quickly unless there was some sort of eugenics program involved. Still, it's a neat idea. If plan to use Latin for something with this and want some help with a translation, feel free to look me up.
