Glitch Update and Folders

Seems that glitch uploading my photos (via my other account) was a hiccup of sorts. It's working now after a considerable delay.


In other news, it is time and more than time to provide an actual listing of what the group's folders are meant for.

To refer to the Group History journalfav.me/d7hrppm this group was made first for actor-based Doctor Who crossovers... crossovers featuring other characters played by the actors of Doctor Who.
This is not to say that other crossovers, or other Doctor Who work in general, does not belong here (I would be more than glad to accept these other works), just that the actor-based crossovers are what I was searching for when I made the group.


With that intent in mind:

Any of the folders named for their actors are meant specifically for these actor-based crossovers. For those like me who may not recognize the actor's name without looking it up, the folder is also labelled with the name for the major character they played.
Here we have Doctors One through Twelve, the Warrior (50th anniversary episode), and thanks to spin-offs, Jack Harkness and Sarah Jane get their own individual folders.
There is another folder for the various companions (besides Sarah or Jack), simply named "Other Companions." This, too, is an actor-based folder, but as there are so many companions to choose from, it is simply not possible to list all of the actors. It includes regular companions and one-offs alike, so feel free to decide for yourself who qualifies as a "companion" when submitting to this folder.
As an example, you might note that the first two chapters of my fic "Spies of Cybus," featuring a much younger version of David's Tennant's "Mercier" from Spies of Warsaw, is among the entries found in the Ten/Tennant folder.

Then we have a folder titled "Other Crossovers."
This is for, well, other Doctor Who crossovers, stories which cross Doctor Who with other media without requiring the actor connection.
Here you might note the prologue to my fic "Prince and the Doctor." This fic, or rather this prologue, is found in this folder because it cameos some original characters from one of my novels-in-progress... and on the same note, the Doctor and Martha would likely cameo in the finished version of that original work. I should point out, however, that crossovers with unpublished works should be left to my discretion; most entries here should be crossovers with other established titles.

And then finally we have "Other fics and Art."
This is, quite simply, anything Doctor Who-related that is not a crossover.


As with any folders in any groups, I may need to change options based on popularity--if I get a slew of Ten/Martha and Ten/Donna entries, for instance, it might be worthwhile to split them up into separate folders--but this should more than suffice for the time being.
