HELLO EVERYONE!!
DID YOU MISS ME?! JK! SORRY FOR THE "RADIO SILENCE" FOR THE LAST COUPLE WEEKS, I WAS ON VACATION! AS SOON AS I CAN I'LL WRITE Y'ALL A PROPER JOURNAL TO TELL YOU ALL ABOUT IT! I HOPE YOU ARE ALL DOING WELL, I'VE MISS YOU GUYS!!

Alright my amazing dA friends/family as you can tell by the journal title I've decided to host a contest! I made mention of it in an earlier journal but my original idea was proving to be too difficult so I have made some changes (I hope you'll still like it!)! I've decided that the "theme" of this contest is THE RANDOMNESS OF FRIENDSHIP! It may sound a bit strange but let me explain; sometimes people come into your life randomly and end up being one of the coolest people you've ever met! Sometimes the friendship between two people may seem random to a third person looking in, but despite all this randomness the two people and their different personalities they get along great. Everyone is unique but so it every friendship! In this contest I want you to show the uniqueness of the friendship you and I share. Now I know that there are some of you that you and I may not know one another very well so I have designed this contest to have a little wiggle room so that you can still participate. In other words we don't have to be super close for you to be able to make an entry for this contest.

But this is what I like to call random art/a random page, it's a bunch of things that are drawn/written together that fills up an entire page/space. Now you do not have to use the shape of a wolf bust(s) for your entry but you may if you'd like to, I'm thinking most will just use a rectangle/sheet of paper. So if you so choose to except this challenge and enter into my contest, below are the 10 things that MUST be included in your contest entry!

First off though...
If your entry is going to be done with traditional mediums (such as color pencils, markers, paint) it must fill up an entire 8x11 piece of paper (Example: A sheet of computer paper.), but if you wish to use a bigger piece of paper that is okay just no smaller than 8x11!
If your entry is going to be done digitally you may used whatever size drawing space you wish as long as everything that is to be included in your entry fills up the space you choose.
Somewhere in some form (whether it be fullbodies, chibis, or busts) your wolfy self and my wolfy self must be drawn!

Your entry MUST include the following:
At least 2-3 lines/sentences of song lyrics. Seeing as the contest theme is about friendship I would prefer it to be lyrics of a song that you think best represents friendship. However if that proves to be difficult you may use lyrics from a song that holds meaning to you. Also you are allowed to write more than just 2-3 lines of lyrics, you may write more or use the lyrics of the entire song if you wish.

Write into the drawing at least ONE of your favorite quotes and mine ('The only way to shine your light is in the dark, so never let life kill your spark.').

Draw something that represents your favorite season and my favorite season (Autumn). Examples: An autumn colored leaf, falling snow, a snowflake, a spring flower, the bright summer sun, etc.

There has to be at least 7 stars (as in the shiny things up in the up in the night sky) drawn into your contest entry. They can be drawn right next to one another or spread out, it is up to you!

Write out a short description of what you believe is true friendship.

A completely random object.

Draw something that represents ONE of the five elements: Earth, Air, Water, Fire, and Spirit. Get creative with this, try to think of something that isn't the obvious to represent the element you choose. Examples: For Earth a unique looking tree, roots of a tree that form a pattern, pawprints through the mud, etc. For Air perhaps leaves swirling about, or a tornado, clouds that form into some shape, etc. For Water a wave pattern that acts as a border around your other artwork for your entry, water dripping from the top of your entry, glass of water, etc. For fire a candle, volcano, burning marshmallow, etc. For Spirit it could be what looks to be a shadow or mist of your/my wolfy self.

Draw a pawprint that represents you AND a pawprint that represents me.

Your zodiac symbol and my zodiac symbol (Aquarius).

Your name and my name (bantam) written in a unique font or foreign language!

...And of course include your signature!
