How To Adopt

If you are reading this, you are probably new to Andolsi and would like to learn how to get into the fun! At first glance, Andolsi can appear hard and challenging, but I assure you, adopting creatures is really easy and depends a lot upon 'luck'. I am going to teach you real quick how to get started in Andolsi!

First and Foremost - Andolsi is FREE FREE FREE - no DA points or paypal allowed.   _{Phew! Glad we got that out of the way.}

Now the concept is - you are an explorer of a world called Andolsi who searches for the rare and elusive creatures found in its lands.

You will want to start your journey off by visiting and searching the Ella-Wood Garden Map. This is a great map to begin your adventure on because the creatures you are most interested in at this stage are found in abundance on this map. Also, every single creature available in Andolsi can be found on this map if you are lucky enough to chance upon one while they are visiting the Garden.


So let's keep in mind that you are an Explorer, and because of this, you can always search 1 square on the map every 24 hours. At this point, if you are new and beginning your adventure, all you have is yourself!! So go ahead and pick out a square on the map that has no X's or O's or Paws and reply in the comments down below using your Search Template:

Search - A7
(replace A7 with the square you have chosen to search)

That's it! You have successfully searched a square. Depending upon your luck Andolsi will soon reply with what you have found on that square, if anything at all.

What should you be looking for? Well, that is a great question! Of course you want to hoard up on all the sweet adopts! However, a Griffin would be particularly nice in your collection as soon as possible. You see, a lot of the creatures found in Andolsi will help you search the maps! In this case, a Griffin pet will give you an additional 2 searches every 24 hours. Awesome! So if you do find a Griffin to keep as a pet you can start searching the maps like this:

Search - A7
(replace A7 with the square you have chosen to search)
Griffin and [link to your pet] - W2, U18
(replace the W2 and U18 with the squares you want your Griffin to search)

So you see, with a Griffin pet you can easily search more squares within 24 hours for a better chance of finding more adopts and items faster.

"I've been searching the map over and over but I can't find a Griffin pet!" No worries, my determined adventurer! Andolsi keeps track of how many times you have searched the map. If you've searched at least 7 times with no luck then you can Adopt a Griffin from the Griffin Sanctuary. Usually, Andolsi will notify you when you can get your winged-fella from the Sanctuary.


Remember, there are other creatures besides Griffins who help aid your searches. We call these creatures 'Specialty Creatures'. But these creatures generally require some 'Comfort Creatures' in order to be tamed. So another great thing to search for on maps while getting started are the cute and adorable (sometimes not so adorable) Comfort Creatures - such as the Black-Footed Woodpecker, Darling Deer, Koi, and Koigons. These are great to hoard up on, so that when you DO become lucky and find a Specialty Creature you will have some Comfort Creatures ready to help that Specialty Creature feel safe, loved, and happy to be Owned by you.

The Knit and Grit of Andolsi - Really, Andolsi is just one big Hide-&-Seek game. Or as one member described it, a great game of Battleship. Be sure to watch how other players play the game and search the maps. Learning from the example of others is a great way to learn how to be your best. Remember to use your Creatures wisely!

And don't forget to search more of Andolsi. There are other events going on besides just the Maps. For example, there is the Auction House where you can use your Andolsi coins to bid on creatures. And usually, there is a Special Event happening where you can grab some new pets that are being released into the world for the first time. Old Man Henri's Barn is also a great game of roulette!
