Contest: Embarrassing, Ecchi Elliot! (For money~!)

Who knows what brought this on, but I’ve decided that dammit, we need another art contest here. Evidently I have a thing against wanting to keep money, so this might end well for you!

Anyway, here’s the deal:

Elliot Raymond, my main male OC and the main protagonist of my little universe. He does well for himself, girls like him, and he’s a friendly and fairly gentlemanly sort.

He also manages to constantly get into goofy, bizarre situations through no real fault of his own, and since his girlfriend Nancy is a complete pervert who loves making him his doujinshi toy, he just can’t quit ending up in naughty situations. Sometimes they’re both! Or more!

Oh, and now he’s got a female version because it’s cute and equally silly.

Anyway, your goal is simple: You are to draw Elliot Raymond, male or female type, getting into a situation that fits into one or both of the following categories:

--EMBARRASSING! – Women just keep embarrassing Elliot at every turn! Be a person who’s all too happy to make sure they carry on the tradition on SOME silly situation.

--ECCHI! – Both Elliots find their way into all kinds of naughty little misadventures. Elliot’s no stranger to women who keep trying to make him grope them for reasons he certainly can’t figure out. Confuse him further, potentially by having them aim his hand lower! >:3

(If, for whatever reason, you deem it fit to draw Elliot in the middle of something explicit, I’ll allow it, but there’s going to be some complications with how you’re going to actually show me your pictures, and I won’t be able to directly link to your entry.)



ENTRIES ARE DUE ON DECEMBER 16. IF YOU WILL NOT BE DONE BY THEN, THEN YOU CAN ASK FOR A ONE-WEEK EXTENSION, BUT ONLY IF YOU CAN PROVE THAT YOU’VE BEEN WORKING ON SOMETHING AND JUST NEED A LITTLE MORE TIME.

Keep in mind: I’m aware of how this could theoretically be gamed, so there IS a skill cutoff in place. Basically, if you can’t draw about as well as I can, or better, your entry will be disqualified – it will neither count toward a prize, nor toward the number of participants. In addition, if you draw subject matter that pisses me off, deliberately or otherwise, you will also be disqualified. If any of this worries you, send me notes about your plans, as I can and will warn you ahead of time if you’re crossing my lines, or are likely to have either yourself or a friend disqualified.

Also keep in mind that prize tiers that haven’t been reached yet are subject to change.


WANT SOME TIPS?

-While I’m sure someone could prove me wrong, it’s probably in your best interest to have Elliot interacting with SOMEBODY. It doesn’t matter who, however, as long as it works for one of the categories. Wanna use one of my OCs?  Wanna use one of YOUR OCs? Wanna use an actual anime character, or hell, want to put Male and Female Elliot together? Go for it! Just make sure they fit together, and if they’re MY characters, try to keep them in-character. ;3

-Don’t be afraid to look through my gallery or favorites to see what kind of stuff I like, or get more ideas about how to show Elliot a “fun” time.

-My interests are pretty plain to see if you flip through my gallery or site. Apply other fetishes to your entry at your own risk if you don’t intend on asking me if I like them beforehand – if you decide to apply a fetish I clearly don’t like, you’re probably just going to annoy me and waste your time. For that matter, it’s probably a bad idea to give women jewelry; I almost never like how it looks on a girl outside of chokers and basic rings.

-The more effort you put into your work, the more likely you’re better to do. While, say, it isn’t strictly necessary that you color your artwork or put a huge amount of detail into your picture, keep in mind: if two entries are pretty much equal otherwise, the person who put that little extra into their work is likely to win.

-TALK TO ME IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS; DA has a ‘notes’ function for a reason. I’m happy to give advice to anyone who asks, be it for characters, situations, or even dialogue, so talking to me a good idea if you’re shooting for the top prize (and if you aren’t, I don’t think you know how contests work).


GETTING YOUR PRIZE:

If you win, I can get you your prize using a couple of methods. IF NONE OF THESE ARE ACCEPTABLE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WIN A PRIZE NO MATTER HOW WELL YOU DO, SO BE SURE YOU’VE READ YOUR OPTIONS BELOW. I can and will disqualify you right at the end of the contest if you choose to wait until then to tell me "oh, and I don't know how you're going to pay me".

5: You are free to make suggestions, but I will ONLY accept them if I think they’re reputable. Simply put, you’re best off just picking something I have listed above, and you MUST convince me that they’re reputable BEFORE the contest ends.
