For a moment the thoughts and danger echoed in Lanh’s mind as well as the faceless forms of the fabled ‘everyone’ involved, their heart racing with increasing protective anxiety every second that passed. Luckily, a whimsical voice brought them back out of their shadows.

“Lanhhh~? Ey now, don’t go ‘shield-mode’ on me, need ya to listen to the rest!” The visiting friend grinned ushering the Virizion back to the village.

“Oh—Y-Yeah, of course.  I’m sorry… Please, tell me everything that’s happened so far.” Lanh, with a small relieved sigh, would smile and listen to all that their friend needed to say. From them, they would get caught up to what all had happened during the Leader tournament, How mysterious beings had taken the Tao trio into their clutches, how two of the Tao legendaries were now rampaging through the lands of the Sun Empire, and—And the Keldeo’s—Tserin’s distress message. Each piece of new left eh Virizion’s nerves want to go haywire and go there immediately to help but… but they also had duties here in the Bronze Coast.

Lanh had hasten their pace in the village, greeting villagers with a grin as always but seeming to kindly excuse themselves from conversation. Panic instead had increase much like their pace until they had gotten home.

“Ba, Ba Are you Here??” The virizion’s panic came to voice looking for their parent. Once the parent, Xuan, made themselves known, Lanh spilled the details to them, how much trouble Sun Empire—the place the parent had told them about since young—had been in danger and that they needed the Virizion for the Sacred Ceremony. They couldn’t help but also profess that they wanted to dearly go and help the country, Tserin, and everyone but they didn’t want to abandon this village or Bronze Coast either. They felt so conflicted they really needed help, to seek guidance from the older Parent Virizion.

Seeing the obvious need of Lanh... Xuan assured that they should go. Lanh had surprise in their eyes, to which the parent reassured them that is would probably be best that Lanh go. Xuan was much too old to be able to assist with the Sacred sword ceremony and they ,too, loved the land of Bronze Coast, so the olde Virizion will be the one to stay and watch over the precious villagers and land that Lanh loved so much. With tears welling up in their eyes they had now been able to make their decision.

The next day, Lanh would make their announcement to the village of their leaving for the Sun Empire with reassurance that Xuan would stay and watch over everyone. The villagers were saddened, professing their worry for the Virizion but still cheering they will be able to do what is needed. To the villagers, Lanh was very much kind and capable to accomplish their goals, so will a last-minute gathering, they all saw off the legendary with tears and cheers. Lanh would then make their departure with their Friend’s lead to the Foreign country, moved to tears by the villagers’ kindness to them but further fueling them with the need to do what’s important now: Perform the ceremony to help stop the conflict, Protect the prestigious and foreign land and its people , And to finally meet Tserin and the other Comrades that they’ve only heard stories about.

:iconslashshine: Oooooooh my god, this comic is so cool! Oh geez, every panel is so crisp and dynamic! It's not 'long,' but there feels like a lot of emotion in it! ;v;/ I would have liked to meet Lanh, but even if they didn't get the spot, it stills seems like you've made a complex and interesting character~
