When I see this picture, I see you as someone who doesn't like how some of our crops are grown. The sky is gray and foggy. The sun's light is hindered, so there's just enough light in the clouds to know that the sun is out. All the farm land looks dismal and void of life, but goes through the motions of plant growth and then harvest. The land is abnormally colored a purple color. And what is actually growing on the land looks diseased in a way, as well as the ground.

I could see you not being in agreement with some pesticides that are used on farms to maintain crops. I could also see it that you probably don't trust the genetic make-up of the seeds that are used to grow certain crops.

You probably already know this, but when you cross-pollinate two plant organisms so that the next generation of plants will have desirable plant traits - you have produced a genetically modified organism (GMO). Mankind has actually been using GMO's in foods for a very long time.

If you give a crop too many genes that strongly code for anti-pest and weed, anti-drought, and anti-disease - you will have no problems for a time. But when an insect or weed organism adapts to the presence of our GMO crops, the problems come back a lot worse than if we had just left things alone. Nature adapts over time.

This would be a good picture to use in propaganda to get rid of questionable farm practices. I think you meant for this picture to be dismal. So in that sense, it was very well made and put together. But it really does make me think of future problems people may have in the agriculture industry.
