My Pirate Star Catcher. Yep. She will be part of a MAJOR FotS event in the future o3o

Awhile back I came to the conclusion that FotS needed a band of renegades so what better than pirates o3o

Calypso and Jones

In the great seas of Chevalia is a ship with sails black as night, it sails along the seas and terror is not far behind the sighting of it. It's captain and crew with hearts of ice, determined to plunder and take what ever strikes their fancy.

Calypso is the fierce captain of the "Black Hole" leading her band of renegades to sail and plunder the high seas of Chevalia with but one goal in mind. To find the legendary forsaken Star Catcher and mend her tail, so that she can resurrect Jones and be with him once again. She tends to come off as highly aggressive and stubborn. She has quite the temper and will not hesitate to send you walking the plank both bound and gagged so you won't make it back alive.

Calypso wasn't always like this however, she was a normal Star Catcher with a normal life, until within a blink of an eye it all changed. She had decided to take Jones' (her former star seed) to see the place that she had found him. They had been away from the Astral Forest for quite sometime, as it was a long journey and made camp near the cave in which she had found him. The next day she took him to the cave, showing the beautiful crystals that glimmered and shone with an unnatural light. Since he had been in her bud he had missed all of this and had always wanted to see it. As they wandered to the place where he had crashed through the ceiling and to the ground, leaving a gaping hole deep within the cave almost like a sky lite. Calypso sat in the warm sunlight and watched as Jones' proceeded to flit around the room in a flurry of excitement. Both were having such a marvelous time that niether was aware of the impending danger about to fall upon them. While they were immersed in their fun they were unaware that they had happened into the lair of a Bulette, which are very territorial.

As the Bulette creeped nearer Calypso began to feel a chill and quickly stood but not before the creature lunged from the shadows, grabbing her tail in its strong jaws. She screamed in pain and cried for Jones to run, though he did the exact opposite and instead flung himself at the creature. The Bulette, not known for its wit jerked it's head to avoid the assault with Calypso's tail still caught tight and severed it from her body. Calypso, in pain and fear for her other half screamed for Jones as the creature opened it's large maw to catch him. She summoned every ounce of her magic and willed for the creature to be gone. There was a blinding flash and then silence, as the Bulette disappeared from Chevalia, and Calypso collapsed, exauhsted. She awoke a few hours later to find that night had fallen, the only light in the room of the cave, other than the moonlight filtering through the hole was slowly ebbing away. As she crawled to it her worst fears were confirmed, Jones lay there, his light slowly fading from his body as the magic that was his life force left him slowly. Calypso began to cry, long shuddering sobs as she held him close. "Jones, Jones, please please p-please don't leave me, please Polaris no..." She looked around for the other end of her tail, thinking maybe there was some magic left in it that could heal him. As she saw it, she dragged the two of them over to it on the ground and put him back into the bud, praying and hoping. But it was useless, when her tail had been severed it's connection with her magic was also severed and so it could no longer heal him. She watched, useless as Jones' light faded and in the last moments he looked up at her and smiled, "Thank... You... Caly... Don't worry... I'll be okay... I love you..." He whispered between ragged breathing, and as the last word left his lips the last of his light faded, he took in one last long breathe and released it in a soft sigh never to breathe again.. Calypso sobbed over his body for what felt like days, though it was only hours, feeling as if her entire being had been ripped in half and now only one part of it remained. As daylight started to filter in, Calypso stood shakily, lifting Jones' body and the rest of her tail and placed it upon her back. With her magic completely drained and her body torn and bleeding she travelled slowly back to the Astral Forest where the Star Catchers made their home with one thought in mind. She had to bring him back. She barely registered the journey and didn't stop to rest at all, driven only by the thought of bringing Jones back.

As she entered the temple of the stars she was confronted by two of her friends who immediately picked up on something being wrong. She ignored them and continued on to the Elders, her severed tail hanging behind her. The Elders met her at the enterance to the temple and she begged and pleaded with them to revive Jones. She told them what had happened as they took Jones' body, convinced that they would help her. It wasn't until they had his body taken away that one of the Elders sat with her and told her that they would not be able to revive Jones nor would they be able to reattach her tail. Calypso looked at them increduously, "You can't just do nothing, let me see Polaris, she can help me. We need to revive Jones!" She screamed at them, as Polaris walked in with a deep sadness in her eyes.

"There is nothing we can do for Jones or your tail," Polaris said with deep regret, lowering her head. "Everything happens for a reason, we live and we die. But not before our time, no matter how tragic it may be. Jones had a wonderful life despite how brief it was, but we can not mess with Destiny." She looked up at the broken Star Catcher, wishing there was something she could do, "I am truely sorry Calypso but there is nothing I can do.." With those words Polaris left, and Calypso, seethed with anger, refusing to believe that there was nothing that could be done to bring him back. She screamed and cursed them, until the last few days took its final toll on her and she collapsed into a puddle of sobs, before falling into a troubled sleep. She awoke later in her room, her stump of a tail healed as much as it could be and her two best friends, eagerly waiting to see her awake. As her friend's went to console her she stopped them both in mid sentence. "Do NOT," she said the word with such venom that they both took a step back, "try to console me. This is not over. I can revive him. I can fix this." It was then that she explained her plan to find the legendary forsaken Star Catcher that was rumored to have taken a tail made of clockwork when her's was cut from her, so that she could revive Jones.

She left shortly after, her friends deciding to follow her to the end.

And thus began their adventure. She will stop at nothing to get Jones back, and she intends to succeed. If you get in her way she won't hesitate to eliminate you one way or the other. Beware, and watch for the black sails upon the sea.

Holy hell that is one hell of a BIO god damn but it all needed to be said because it is all relevant. At any rate... Yes plans and stuffs.

Star Catchers are a CLOSED species meaning you can not make one of your own.
Bulette species stuff is not mine! Info here with a link to the original:  Bulette infoBulette: Aptly called a "landshark", the bulette is a terrifying predator that lives only to eat. It is universally shunned, even by other monsters.
It is said by some that the bulette is a cross between an armadillo and a snapping turtle, but this is only conjecture. The bulette's head and hind portions are blue-brown, covered with plates and scales ranging from gray-blue to blue-green. Its nails and teeth are dull ivory. The area around its eyes is brown-black, and its eyes are yellowish with blue-green pupils.
Fortunately for the rest of the world, the bulette is a solitary animal, although mated pairs (very rare) might share the same territory. Since its appetite is so voracious, each landshark has a large territory. Since its appetite is so voracious, each landshark has a large territory that can range up to thirty square miles. Other predators rarely share territory with them, for fear of being eaten. The bulette has no lair, preferring to wander above and below gr

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES do this with your own star catcher. I may just have to kick your ass. Just saying.
