     Hair Ribbon
        -Given to her by father, Claire uses it to hide her rabbit ears whenever she is around other humans. When around base or a place she feels safe, she ties her ribbon to the back of her cape.                    
             How it works: Claire's earrings are made of a platinum-cobalt alloy with slight magnetic properties. The ribbon has a light, thin and malleable sheet of the same metal embedded inside of it with the same magnetic pole faced towards the earrings. This causes them to repel each other, and the bow "levitates" as a result.
               
    Stuffed Cat
        -An old, beat up gray kitten plush toy that Claire’s had since she was a kid.

In order to seem likeable to as many people as possible, Claire may lie or act differently than usual to be in their favor. By being able to understand other's motivations and emotions, she can pick the best words to influence and charm them. Sometimes she may empathize with people a little too well, and will feel guilty about lying to them later. Because she's such a people pleaser, it's hard for people to hear Claire's true opinions. Her lack of self-confidence makes her unable to act or speak in a high-stress environment, or if her words may hurt or anger someone else.
After the events of the brigade and the loss of several allies, Claire finds herself being more paranoid. It's harder for her to fully trust people, and her view on life has become slightly pessimistic. Any small mistake could lead to a larger disaster. She worries that each meeting with someone could be her last. The moment the rabbit feels the slightest bit attached to a person, Claire may overreact if they get the smallest injury or if something's bothering them. Even if it may inconvenience her, she will listen and do whatever she can to make sure they're alright.


History:

SUMMARY: Claire’s family moved to Pearson because her father was a scientist working on Anagenesis. She was a sheltered girl that wanted to explore more of the world, but was unable to due to transforming into a rabbit at age 14. After learning that her father's lab wanted her as a test subject, she ran away from home and joined a gang run by a rabbit named Jaxx. She stayed with the group for 3 and a half years until the group was accused of being part of BJBB by POSRA. After being separated from her gang, Claire was saved by Cherry, who brought back to the BJBB base.

PROLOGUE

    At age 7, Claire was a human living in France when she had to move with her family to Pearson due to her father’s work in Anagenesis. Her childhood in District S was sheltered and opulent, though she was born a physically weak child that spent her time quietly reading books. After reading about the exciting adventures of multiple protagonists, the girl was determined to explore the world herself, or at least make a positive difference in it.

    At 14, Claire began to have headaches. Not wanting to worry her over-protective parents, she assumed it was probably a migraine and kept quiet about it as to not bother them. However, after several weeks, one of the headaches became so severe that the girl passed out. Waking up days later, Claire found herself in the hospital with her parents, and her father explained how she had a recessive gene for the TSRG virus.

    At the time, Claire didn’t realize or pay much attention to the discrimination of rabbits. However, she learned one important fact: as a rabbit, she would not be allowed to travel outside of Pearson. Claire’s father, wanting her to have a life as normal as she possibly could, gave her a ribbon to cover her new ears.

    After being released from the hospital, her life was fairly normal. Her parents allowed Claire to explore more of the city (usually with supervision). Claire began to be exposed to the darker side of Pearson, but when she asks about the unhappy rabbits in the streets her parents refused to answer. So she tried ignoring everything negative during her “adventures” to please them.

    One late night, Claire was woken up by a heated phone conversation by her father.  The funding for her father’s facility was running low, and they were desperate to further their research on TSRG to find anything to monetize. They lacked test subjects. It was expensive to create a rabbit, and kidnapping a random one off the streets was risky... Her father greatly disapproved of using his own daughter in their research, but he eventually gave in through blackmail.

    The girl was livid. She already had her life restricted to the island-being stuck in a lab was just too much to ask from her. On an impulse and against her better judgment, Claire ran away and into the streets of District B. After running for what seemed like an eternity, the girl found herself in a portion of the city unknown to her. Lost, frightened, and tired, she hid and slept in an alley until sunrise to figure things out in the morning.  

    A male rabbit going by the nickname “Jaxx” found the young girl sleeping near his hideout. Jaxx was the leader of a small, ragtag gang of rabbits. A conversation with the girl made Jaxx realize she had nowhere to stay, so he let Claire join his group out of sympathy. After a rough start, the other group members welcomed Claire as one of their own, and they taught the inexperienced girl first aid, deception, and other street skills.

    Three and a half years of Claire's life was filled with deceiving humans. The girl always felt guilty about it, yet she knew she had no other choice. Despite having to lie and cheat for her food daily, Claire still enjoyed her newfound freedom to wander the streets and the close bonds she shared with the group.

    Things took a turn for the worst during one of gang's schemes when they were found by POSRA and accused of being BJBB terrorists. Naturally, they ran from the officers, and Claire found herself separated from the others. While she desperately tried to escape, a car miraculously skidded and swerved right into the pursuing officers. In the heat of the moment, all Claire remembered was the car window rolling down, and a rabbit she didn't even know yelling at her to get in. Her only other option was POSRA, so she took her chances and climbed aboard. Cherry, the name of her savior, was part of BJBB, the very rabbit crime syndicate Claire’s group was accused of being in. While she worried about her friends, when given the option to join the organization or fend for herself, Claire gladly joined the brigade.

PRESENT

    Working in the brigade was tough and much scarier than being in her gang. But the rabbit was happy to know that her efforts were making a difference. POSRA’s increasing violence stressed the female out, and after losing some of her closer friends Claire spent more efforts on trying to help out in the infirmary and comfort her allies that were still alive. While she welcomes new members with wide smiles, she’s begun using the alias “Lucina” when introducing herself to anyone and keeps her distance when she isn’t needed.

    As much as she misses her gang and her father and worries about their safety, Claire is too scared to try to search for them. Even if things are peaceful at the moment...the rabbit doesn’t like going outside the base unless it’s for a mission or she’s with someone. She hopes the peace will last, but for now. Better safe than sorry.
