Yup, you read that correctly

After giving it some long and hard thought, I have decided that I do not have time to continue my position as CV for Photomanipulation. Currently, I am working 2 jobs and trying to write my doctoral dissertation. Those things need to come first. I barely have time to post DDs these days, much less keep up with contests and games, organize chats, do features and interviews, etc. And it's not fair to the community to have a CV who doesn't do those things.

AbbeyMarie will be coming on board to take my place in the Photomanip gallery. I will be supporting her however I can, so I'm not completely disappearing, but please direct DD suggestions to her now. I'm still accepting DD suggestions for the Digital Art community, though.

I am kind-of sad and kind-of relieved to be stepping down from photomanipulation. It is a huge weight off of my shoulders, but I'll miss serving primarily this community very much.

I made so many friends here (and so many enemies who later became friends, lmao!!) and I love you all like you wouldn't believe (or I wouldn't have lasted this long). I'm not going anywhere; I'm not going to disappear. I love you but I need you to support Abbey now; she's going to need you.

To the Digital Art community

I am joining tinycasket as a digital art community CV. I stepped into this community a while ago, but it is easier for me just to handle one community right now. Digital Art has a different dynamic, requires less energy, and is what I need right now. This was a hard decision I had to make for myself and my own reasons.

So, keep sending me those Digital Art suggestions. I love receiving them, and I honestly try to respond to most of them. Because of time constraints, I often simply cannot. And send your photomanip suggestions to Abbey.
