Don’t let the halo fool you, there’s nothing angelic in the bedside manner of this sadomasochist white coat. No one’s too sure why such a misanthrope became a doctor or better yet who let him run the facility. Through his monotone he’s blunt and inappropriate like he doesn’t have an ounce of home training in him. His immaturity is apparent -- possibly a result of being a forever teen -- and rampant. He’s a devil to the core, holding petty grudges and being completely unprofessional comes with the package, even though his “jokes” end in near-fatality; but as he says, “my check’s feeling light this month, we need more dead.” However even with his quirky attitude, to say the least, he’s a damn good doctor, he’d say overqualified really. There’s something about those dead eyes that know how to sniff out problems and slice them out with surgeon precision. Shed’s not necessarily a bad guy but he’s far from good. Shed’s interests only lie in organs and experiments, his interest in hospitality stems from that alone. Being able to slice people open for money and try out the extention of science and the human condition? What’s not to die for?

There isn’t much Shed remembers prior to the evolution incident but does know one thing for sure: an evil spirit is possessing his body. What one might call a Ninjask brother, Shed claims to be a body snatcher. His “death” created an opportunity for “life” to arise. In this instance, Shed’s spirit was cast away from his mortal flesh and a second personality came forward. You don’t exactly ever prepare to die, come back as a corporeal, eternal form of yourself the time you died and watch something else crawl around in your flesh so Shed’s still pretty bent up over it. Honestly there was never a time he did accept this even if his family were overjoyed and accepted the two thoroughly. To call it infuriating would just be the tip of the ghastly iceberg.

Don’t get him wrong, there are some perks to being dead and immortal: being able to walk through walls, disappear and fly. Never having to worry about getting sick or dying (nailed that) but the ghost life was never something for Shed. His goal was returning back to his mortal self. It started with trying to exorcise his brother but that didn’t work out. His next plan: build his own body. Some aren’t that keen on the idea of playing God but no one peeps about the black magic called medical science helping to extend their short lives.

Given so much time as he needed for this endless lifetime, he studied, later becoming a doctorate holding, licensed body cutter. It wouldn’t be a lie if Shed said he liked his job, he quite loves people down to their squishy innards and fragile mentalities even if his actions don’t quite show it. But his eyes are always on the bigger picture, honing his craft and experimenting to test the limits of the body so that he make an ingenious discovery in medical history while returning to his old life; getting paid to dissect others is just a perk.
