Description
Turns out that ballpoint pens won't be working for commissions. The ink doesn't play well with copics, making a bit of that blurring you see above. Worse still, the ink from the pen can get into the marker tips, which is just not cool. It makes sense really, I need my sketch phase. I'm not far enough along to go straight to ink xD
I think I'm gonna put this Inktober venture to rest.
It helped a bunch, but with all of the pre-convention prep and comic work building up I can't justify continuing.
I WILL however probably still be posting a bunch of things since I have to color the pieces I've already finished~

Cute! It seemed to make difference if I waited a good amount of time after sketching with ballpoint pen before attempting to color with Prismacolors. Like overnight or even the better part of an hour. It didn't seem to bleed as much. Dunno if Copics would act the same.
