Build: Howl is built slightly bigger than his siblings, being the oldest. When he gets older, he will do well at tasks that require strength and stamina, and is quite robust. Will fill out as he gets older and become quite long legged, though he will be muscley aswell.

Personality: The first thing you notice about Howl, is that he is a very quiet wolf. He doesn't talk much to those he doesn't know and prefers to stick around his parents than other wolves or even other puppies. He is not known for jumping around shrieking like his brother, and is more than happy to watch things play out before him, and stay hush. He gets on very well with his sister, Solitaire, due to the fact that they both tend to stay around Gypsee or Caidan when worried or concerned and doesn't like to be far from them.

He hates the thought of being far from safety and can sometimes have anxiety issues, over thinking scenarios and creating false issues in his head. He has the tendancy to stand back and assess his surroundings first before making a move or before syaing anything and measures up how well he can deal with a situation. He rarely shouts or loses his temper and has quite a long fuse. He has to deal with his brothers constant showing off and tends to get fed up with it, and feels the need sometimes to correct him or to remind him what he is doing is irrisponsible or would get him in trouble. He is a well spoken wolf and is very intelligent.

He likes to share his knowledge with friends, and will only do it with wolves he feels comfortable with, so once you get past the shy barrier, he is quite the sweetheart. Despite having a long fuse, if Howl is pushed enough, he will snap. He becomes hostile and starts snapping, and tends to keep everyone at a distance. Once he snaps he hides away and tried to not speak to anyone for a while, for fear of insulting or hurting them. As Howl grows, he comes out of his shell more and tends to be a little more outspoken, thanks to his brothers influence. He always has a soft spot for his sister Solitaire and would do anything for her, and tends to be a little defensive about his brother Ellis, due to an early on accident. Howl likes to stay out the way and watches everything from a distance, but does not mean he won't work or is lazy.

He pulls his weight and is a very hard working wolf, beleiving you have to push for what you want. Due to his knowledge, he is very good at reading body language and can tell when someone is lying, or when something is wrong, and being a good listener, Howl is a wolf you can talk to if you have any problems. He's good at keeping secrets and is a very trustworthy wolf. He is also very affectionate and loves hugs and being generally close to other wolves, always rubbing up against them and batting them gently. He forms close bonds with individuals and admires the relationship his mother and father have.

Pre-Group History: Howl was born first out of a litter of three to Gypsee and Caidan. Gypsee and Caidan found love in Morrow, a pack that was formed during the reign or Roman in Blutwald, but was later disbanded due to the death of it's alpha, Howl. Gypsee, being one of the founding members of Morrow, along with Crash, Gypsee's adopted sister and Alpha Howl's maternal sister, moved back to Blutwald, along with Caidan. The pair began a shy romance in Morrow, where everyone could see they liked each other.... Apart from them.  Gypsee and Caidan soon became mates after coming back to Blutwald and had their first litter soon after. Gypsee named her first born son after the deceased Morrow Alpha, out of respect and honour for what he did for her and her family and for giving her a future. As a newborn, Howl always seemed Dominant, however soon turned out that it was Ellis who would be the dominant of the litter. Early on, Ellis is involved in an accident causing him to be crippled in his back leg, causing Howl to want to look after him a lot. Howl always wanted to stick near to Ellis and ran around after anythign he needed, learning to make splints for him from his mother and how to hunt from his father.

Howl loves warmth and tends to always want to be near the back of the den when he sleeps. He also loves to climb trees, due to his Adoptive Aunt, Crash.
