Description
A little speed-study to finish off the weekend - and slowly get back on track with digital, too. This marks my second attempt at working with color, and although it's not nearly as refined as I'd wish, it was good practice nonetheless, especially for getting out of my comfort zone. The edges are a recurring issue, but I hope with some extra effort it will eventually pay off.

Nice work, you did a great job with the colours and I especially like the texture of the cork. The reflections on the table seem tricky, but you pulled it off well.
I agree that the values could be improved with more contrast (darker in the dark areas, lighter in the highlights), and that would help to really make the image 'pop'.
