Group Rules

Our rules were a bit scattered throughout various journals, so now we're updating the journal to include all the rules in one place.

Group Rules:


1. NO STOLEN ARTWORK ALLOWED
--> This rule is somewhat self-explanatory, if the artwork submitted to the gallery has been stolen, then it will not be approved and the deviant who claims to own the artwork will be banned from the group. In the case that a piece was submitted and we approved it unaware that it was stolen; we will remove the piece from group folders as soon as we know it is stolen, and the owner will be banner from the group. This is not a warning to be taken lightly, WE WILL BAN YOU IF YOU STEAL. Deviants who submit stolen content but do not claim to own it (for example: someone submitting from their favorites), will not be banned from the group, but will receive a warning if possible.

2. Traced artwork is allowed if credited
--> We do allow traced artwork if you have credited your source and have their permission to trace their work.

3. Do NOT bully/abuse others
--> If someone in this group is caught bullying others through the group, they will receive a warning. If they are caught three times, they will be banned from the group.

4. Do not backtalk at the admins
--> If you have a problem with SailorPlanet, then please let us know politely. If it is a problem we can fix, then we will do so. If it is not something we can/will change, then we will let you know as soon as possible. Please understand that we are human, and do not enjoy it when people treat us like robots. If you have a problem with an individual admin or member of the group, please keep it between yourself and that person, the entire group does not need to know about your disagreement.

5. Be sure to submit your deviation to the correct folder.
--> We have a wonderful guide to the folders that can be found here: fav.me/d84kkl4, if you still don’t know where to submit, please ask us and we’ll do whatever we can to help.

6. No mature deviations allowed
--> Mature deviations are not allowed in this group since most of the characters are considered underage by DA, and therefore mature deviations including these character are much more likely to break a rule laid down by the DeviantArt staff.

7. No prints allowed
--> Since this a group for fan art, our admin team felt that it would not be right for us to accept submissions where the deviation is available as a print since Sailor Moon is copywrited by Naoko Takeuchi and Toei Animation. We will make an exception, however, if you have recieved specific permission to sell your deviation. If you have recieved specific permission then please send us a note before submitting your deviation so that we can approve or disapprove it properly.

8. No border-line mature/errotic deviations allowed
--> This group is meant to be family friendly, and therefore the admin team decided by majority vote to ban all border-line mature and/or errotic deviations. Deviations that would be considered border-line would be those where private parts are barely covered or the scene is highly suggestive. If you are not sure whether or not your deviation would be considered border-line then please go ahead and submit it, we will make a decision.
--> Things that would not make a deviation border-line include: kissing, hugging, short sailor-skirts (because there is no way around that), visible mid-drifts/thighs, and figure (for example: a busty character would not necessarily be considered border-line).

9. Quality control
--> This is NOT in any way meant to limit who can submit to the group. All levels of art ability are welcome and encouraged within this group. We are setting this rule in place because we want to be able to see your artwork. It is meant to encourage clearer, cleaner presentation. This rule applies mostly to traditional pieces. We would greatly appreciate if you would submit traditional pieces that have been cleanly scanned or photographed so that we can see and enjoy your artwork.

10. Have fun
--> I know we have a lot of rules, but we do want this group to be an enjoyable place for all Sailor Moon fans.
