Where Do You Walk?

Twilight Zone always had a notoriously bad temper toward anything and anyone that wasn't his jockey.  Kaylin is the only person the young stallion "respected" in a sense.  
During their traditional morning walk in full gear, Kaylin brought her stubborn boy down to the statue of Devil Wears Prada in the paddock.  After standing for maybe five minutes Zone started acting finicky as always and Kaylin started leading him back toward the main area.  He was rush ahead with two steps then stop and fall behind randomly.  He couldn't seem to find his place beside Kaylin.   Stubborn and impatient at the same time, but to common eyes he is anything but a champion.  Good races were good and bad races were horrible.  Which would this be?

Can we just take a moment and learn how much I dislike this...   Slowly packing stuff up to move across town left me with little to draw with.  Sooo, ref-less horse and jockey sketched on some paper then later lined in SAI.  The lines look great!  But as I started adding the background... oh gosh... I lost it.

Oh well!  I had fun with the story behind how he got to the race, art of which will be posted later regardless of placing.
